Hey all, I've got a short ram intake in my rolla (didn't see the sense in getting the CAI - Mine's an auto) but the damned thing heats up quick coz its so close to the radiator pipe. Any suggestions on how the shield the pipe and pod from engine heat?

Well I'm no pro, But the RSM = REv/ Speed Meter, Its pretty much a glorified speedo + Techo what also computes stuff like 0-60km times, power output etc etc... In short, its a Ricer toy... still... I love it! WHooo! Oh and If u add a G-sensor to it, it'll tell u how many G's u pull in acceleration. Wweeee!

I'm pretty sure that law means IF the spare tire is in the car... and u have to secure it down with the screws etc etc... thats why in road worthys, the spare tire needs to be passed only if its present at the test

The Rsm is simply a rev speed meter. I.e. A speedo and a techco with some extra features on board such as timing for 0-60km, power output etc etc... basically, its a ricer feature... hahahaha *more rice here pls!*

Hey Danz, I looked at that option before, I think the side panels are slightly different too. So pretty much you'd need to buy all the front panels off a US corolla to get this done. The cheapest (and closest) place to get this done is the Singapore / Malaysia region. But I ain't doing all that for projectors! Yeah, projectors are a whole new headlight pod. They focus the beam of the light more, but it may seem dimmer on stock bulbs. However having said that, projector lights don't seem to be avialable for our cars. The one in the pic is for the US model and won't fit ours.

Hey all! RSM installed! Took all of 20 mins (vitagen dude, Thats the easiest $35 bucks that guy ever earned) Photos will come once I wash the car and finalize the placement... its sitting on the steering column atm.

Nah Viking its ok... The Apexi site one did the trick... However if your're savy enough the workshop manual actually tells u how replace the stock speedo with the RSM.

What about buying one of those emergency patch and inflation kits (its just a bottle that contains compressed air with sealant etc etc..) Coz the Pug 207s don't have a spare tire, just one of those kits. Flat tyre? just plug in the bottle and it'll fix it up good... apprantly good for about 200kms... at least until u can get to a tyre shop!

Hey hey, I'm about to DIY my Apexi RSM, where can I get an ECU map?

Hey, this is more the the guys that have done the dash color mod. But I've thinking of installing the Apexi RSM and have it replace the stock instrument panel. Thus i want to some how disconnect the stock techo and Odo and preserve the Kms but try to retain the rest of the instruments (Fuel Gauge, Engine warnings etc etc...) Can this be done? Or can someone tell me what the wire harnesses are like back there? Or how to open it up?

Hi all! I'm almost getting one! (Whadda reakon a 2nd hand one for 200?) But there's no manuals etc etc... I've been to the Apexi website and have the wiring guide for it but i think that the manual on the site is for a older version of the RSM. Anyone have the manual on pdf? oh... and i'm going to try a DIY install... Any tips? And best placement opinions?
