Dude, In the singapore forums they have this little "electric turbo" that hooks into the intake pipe and the powered by the battery... essentially hook up a little electric fan into the intake pipe.. cute

My car's metallic Crimson btw (coz if i had a blue or black i'd get the 8000 without a thought.. it just looks better) any nasty things i should look for during the aiming / install?

Shamen, If i'm guessing right ur're in singapore? No the CAI that we all talk about is for the 1zze or 2zze engine (1.8L) but there is an AEM CAI that is suitable for ur car, and I have it on good authority that yahoo auctions singapore may have one.

Wow! hole in the pipe? how did that happen? Guys I've reset the ECU and its all better again, but I'm a little worried coz Danz was telling me that the Auto ecu adjusts faster to temp and may be compensating for the extra air in. Or worst... If Silvabullit is right... any fixes?

After I fix my SRI issues (see the other thread - SRI problems - PLS HELP!) http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...?showtopic=3338 I was thinking of putting in a performance meter that can monitor: - (most important to me) Thrust or G forces - Revs - Spd - Look Cool So i'm looking at things like the GTEch Pro SS or the Apexi - RSM and other suggestions? I'll need ideas on pricing, how much to install and where to get them.

For the first week it was great! The sound, the (slightly) better throttle response etc etc... Hence the "epic battle" with the Dc5. But as from 3 days ago I've noticed that the sound is much softer and the car seems to feel like i've gone back to the stock air system. i've opened the bonnet and checked the SRI and pod and it seems to be ok with no leaks. Any ideas on why? Haha then again maybe my poor installation has stuffed something up.

Just wanted to point out that even if this thing was in production, no way could the average young driver which its aimed at could afford it!
