  1. Black rood, cf bonnet, black lip, tribal art running front to back on the doors (remove the middle bar on the doors), black rear skirt, Black spoiler, balck rear altezza lights, balck eyelids. oh, and purple under carriage lights, phat 18 in black chrome rims. ooohhhh yeahhh....
  2. bah hum bugs to you moto man its easy as to take out the cluster and work on it. But... removing the cluster needles needs another cluster to "recalibrate" them.
  3. Well said mate. Very well said. Post counts is a healthy and probably the best indication of ones contribution towards a forum. It shouldn't be taken the wrong way. If whoring or off-topic discussion relating to the topic occurs in other sections, then action will be taken place... simple as that. Good ness! he even sounds likw a mod now! take the stick outta ur a$$ brandon! :D
  4. don't know about all of you, but i want a v8 commodore now... Mmm... v8....
  5. try firesport.com and keep going back daily, its updated rather often.
  6. nice rims and tyres man, as for the mirrors, not my stlye... but still very unique!
  7. hmmm u blokes all seem to be in nsw, melb pl can look me up for installs
  8. You fellas are all off topic. Those fog lights are in our corolla design (pre facelift) and will most likely fit, ask them to send you pics of the rear (more then those they have on the site) and dimensions and i will confirm this for you. most of the people here had their foggies come "free" with the car, i think only a few of us have installed them ourselves. So talk to either the chrome man (that's me! ) or buddah. parts train also do a foggie kit for us in aust. or... find a wrecker...
  9. HMmm interesting Azza, but as for as the bits on social experimentation goes, does anyone remember a show called house from hell? Amanda Keller and Andrew Denton were the hosts i think, now that didn't hade a big brother figure egging on the sexual innuendos and the show (whilst good) didn't make a comeback. At the end of the day, its the sex sells business. BTW Ben Elton wrote a great book on this big brother thing in the early 90's.
  10. Before any of the angry ppl get to you, "do a search!" now that's covered, for improvement in handling, most ppl are happy with simply lowering the car and putting a good set of front and rear sway bars. I know a fellow member that was hapy enough with lowering and a summit tower strut bar to... the more extreme cases are putting in coilvers and whatnots, but some of these fellas are track goers and the rest have dead shocks so they might as well upgrade to coils. do a search on lowering and see the pros and cons. but before you run out and spend the money, calculate about the costs and compare it to selling the car and getting something better.
  11. as long as the whore post count doesn't get affected, and only inactive threads get deleted, why not? or better yet, jsut start an archived section.
  12. As far a research goes i do believe that TRD will have more work done on the muffler then CES has. I would keep the muffler and get the catback piping from CES if you absolutely have to buy something. You hve to take into account that you have limits when it comes to modding any car and this is "just" a FWD corolla. Why not take the money and put it to a set of good coilovers?
  13. as long as its an oil-paper filter, you should be right, CAIs + dry types = mushie paper in the rain. And if u really sunk your car into that much water that u manage to hydrolock it (its near impossible to do with out driving into a lake) then no filter, good or bad will make a difference.
  14. THen what about chrome?
  15. Hmmm i dunno, the purcell borthers may be good mechanics, but they are really bad ricers. Give them a rice burner, a HSV comes out... :P just kdding jase, good work, even tho u like the occasional aniseed ring
  16. hey, i sold them the rights to that ad.
  17. for noobs this means that if ur're going to use beer as a coolant. only stick with the one brand and type till ur're sloshed!
  18. Toyota Techs and the manual say that its recommended to use tap water?
  19. LOL. maybe those new engines will all be hamstrung by increasingly tough emission. 1.8L 85kw / 5000 rpm 130NM / 2000 rpm :P
  20. XploShun Posted Today, 10:54 AM lol... is this guy deciding... to buy a dc2 or a stivo by its speed? speed of the vehicle isn't what u aim for S2KY_, improve your driving skills! I once beat a Dc5 in my auto ascent, the idiot got too excited and couldn't shift properly. lol Lol, high revving beasties like these are extinct now man. Now NA power = BIG cc, damn you emmission laws!
