    Corolla Rims

What's the tyre & wheel size on your vehicle?. The best way to find out is to read the plaque tthat should be either inside your glove box or door frame. What model of Corolla do you have? good rule of thumb is that what ever your standard rim size is (as recorded inside the door), you can increase the WIDTH of your rim by 1inch. e.g. 15x6 rims can upgrade to 17x7 rims.
  7. did u read this post before you asked that?
  8. yer .. all they do for powder coating is heat up the rim and dip it in this white powder stuff and it melts and bonds to the hot rim. Ive done it before with other metal items That or they either hand spray each one, that's how they did mine. Btw, $100 is a sweet price. Hand spray?? So that means its NOT powder coating ..
  9. only the toyota emblem in the middle has a notch where it sits in .. the lettering TOYOTA and COROLLA and sportivo are jsut double sided adhesive and yes .. leave ur car in the sun for 30 mins, get out the dental floss and run it behind the badge to "cut" the glue then clean off with some metho/water and rinse
  10. If your car hasn't been lowered, I highly doubt it. man .. isnt the corolla stivo and the 1zz the same chassis? if so why would putting the stivo rims on a 1zz affect it at all ??

  12. NRMA allows u to lower 30mm - so tell them that u lowered 30mm - what is 5mm diff dennis ?? U can blame it on sag. even stock corollas all settle at slightly different heights., I asked NRMA and its ur INTENDED lowering height. Not actual. :)
  13. yeah, $100-$120 installation fee at MIDAS Rockdale. speak to Sam and tell him you are a friend of Dennis and Garry. $350 - Big O tyres in moorebank thats springs and install, no align Im trying to find somewhere closer to home though.. might get another midas to price match the rockdale fee

  21. I have been pondering the same thing. I dont really want to have a amp under my seat, had one there in my last car and it actually caused it to heat up and go into safety every now and then. The amp in question didnt have a built in fan though. I was thinking of mounting in amp in the space opposite to where your putting your custom sub box and have it flush mounted and carpeted so it matches the custom box and looks all factory. nice stuff :) the headunit rocks Alpine definitely best in the market i got a pioneer P1Y and its good .. but alpine would of been better:)
