  1. As stated above that's how u clean it Are u asking removal wise? U more than likely hav to remove the cover under the front bar to gain access to the pod, or if it's like mine I ****** off the covers
  2. dear mother nature, please be good to QLD as if they havnt been through enough....

  3. from experience most wiper arm nuts are 14mm, im sure u can go to the wreckers and just get some and more than likely they will just give it to ya for free
  4. Well I've heard h.I.d's are illegal unless you have auto leveling or the fish eye headlight things not too sure what they are called, but we use them anyways lol H7 low beam for u buddy, as for fogs no idea
  5. I've raced a few dc2's and won, dc3 on the other hand, up to about 80km/h is the same then it leaves me in it's dusts

  7. Not at all,, 15 minutes, easier if you remove the battery to install the pipe then put the battery back in..
  8. its a real dog, i wait a few minutes to warm it up anyways regardless
  9. Worth every cent. Pro. Sounds awesome, cross over to lift is more noticeable, more low to mid range torque I reckon, a few extra kw... Con, can't drive on cold start up, defect
  10. U want some peace? Yes they can shoot forward while driving up them, you have to secure them some how Also when you up all the way make sure the front wheels are on the flat surface of the ramp and can't roll backwards.. Don't go half way up the ramp and jack the back wheels cause your car will roll back causing injury due to you jacking thr back wheels off thr ground cause thr handbrake is stopping the car from rolling
  11. Well there really isn't any need to use heavy duty on the engine unless ur removing alot of oil and grease. Use light duty and a high pressure water gun like a gurni!
  12. From canons to fast n the furious.. Tokyo drift is the best of them all! Since I'm a mechanic now I can watch back on these movies and see how wrong they are. Especially gone in 60 seconds and the car talk!
  13. Heavy duty clutch usually fixes the gear change problem, like my car, yes full climate with silver covers in centre console, like my ice box of a car lol, would more then likely be selling march.. :)
  14. what is it with gb's and holes? lol i just fixed mine, ripped out, and stripped the box and replaced the housing...
  15. + hid when u turn em off it blinks which Is cool lol doesn't dim slowly, the ballest is thr expensive bit but x2 hid h7 bulbs for $16 on eBay is cheaper than halogen bulbs ( 1 is $20 ) from supercheap
  16. I'm scratching my head into why you want to put a wagon exhaust onto a corolla sportivo??
  17. my opinion, 2nd hand box with labour AND parts warranty!! When i blew my gearbox, i was quoted 1750 for a 2nd hand box with parts warranty, no labour, instead i chose to get a 2nd hand one for 1250.... also about rebuilds, syncros and all that... its expensive and not worth an old car like that as a matter of fact, i kinda rebuilt my gearbox on monday dont ask how, but a hole accured on the housing of the box, causing oil to leak, i had to strip down the box and replace the housing, Input shaft bearing + seal, Output shaft seal... Drivers side + Passengers side drive shaft seal, Reco driver side complete driveshaft, Oil, o-rings... in the process, while it was apart i had a peek at the syncros, sall good..., she drives much smoother, reverse no crunch ! Oil $90 :( Driveshaft $99 :( Sealant $ FREE lol O-rings $ FREE lol Driveshaft Seals GEN $41 :( Inout shaft seal $ 12 Input shaft bearing $ 55 Output shaft bearing $ 110
  18. I got 205/45 on mine, check my thread if u want to see the profile size on 17"
  19. U can't see a face driving or rego in that vid to prove it's me, for all u know I could of 'found' and said it was 'me' to act like a big shot, anyways 1-2 yeah tricky but doable
  20. done it many times... as said you gotta leave ur foot on the gas and change super quick... ive actually learnt while changing gears i can leave my foot on the gas and hold it at 8k and not hit the limiter, ive got a vid ( not lift from 1-2 ) but 2-3 and 3-4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9XuvhzxUdY stock clutch.. when licence has returned ill try get a vid from 1-2 for ya lol and just relised this is a 2004 thread, OMG what are you thinking posting on such an OLD thread :help: :help:
  21. really im putting in a alarm/remote start to a kf laser tx3 turbo this week, any tips on it? lol i got my trusty multimeter, and test light hahaha
  22. correct, you need spring compressors to compress the springs to remove top strut mount bolt at the top of the strut. u can prob get a ratchet or breaker bar onto it, BUT u will spin the strut shaft in the process, its why as stated above u need a rattle gun ! I had a spare gun at work, and while doing jobs at home i found it was time i got a compressor, super cheap, $119 i paid, 2.5HP, does the job nicely. !
  23. expensive mistake buddy !!! try late model car wreckers, not pick n payless
