yes i am the same but im in the 21st century.. id start the car, sit in it for a few mins, find songs, tune bass what not, drive, shifting at 3k, its still a bag of *rap :( when the revs drop at idle its good... also anyone notice a flat spot around 4800-5600rpm??? not so much coughing but slight drop in power???

dont u have a water temp guage on the instrument cluster??

will check when got the chance.. drove down to wollongong last night and started grinding down the stwisties, pulled over, found dust cover hitting rotor, tried getting branches of the side of the road to bend it back from between the spokes of the wheel no go, got my wheel brace and tried hitting it no go LOL.. ill have to take the wheel off when i get the chance, most likely when i get king lows.. thanx fellas, will post when its bent back and when problem if solved and not accuring anymore.. p.s random hero, ill check shims aswell :)

when upgrading the size of your rim, you have to go a lower profile to keep the diamater of the tyre the same, if not you will throw the speedo out of wack, and possibly scrape.. this pic is 205/45R17, soon to be lowered on Lows !

if i was getting 400, id do a throttle body service, new air and fuel filter, and oil change, and possibly a fuel injection service.. dunno if toyota have this but when i work on the commodores, i reset the fuel trim for the ecu after doing a few of these.
