  1. I considered the Magnatec, but the cost of it means I might as well go synethic if I could afford to.
  2. Most late model Toyotas use parts that are interchangeable etc right down to the wiring harness, but I think I would be very safe in assuming noone has done a Corolla swap onto the Aurion before. My advice? Ask your friend VERY nicely whether he'll let you borrow his steering wheel etc to see if it fits. If it does, then you'll need to source one and fit it. Being a 2011 model I'd think you'd have a hard time finding a second hand one and even if you did, the steering wheel isn't very different to the Aurion Sportivo wheels so why bother?
  3. can you show link for kits? 15kw is bugger all
  4. Sorry to drag up an old thread but couldn't quite find the answer when searching I decided to pick up the oil for the service this weekend in the Aurion, and basically choked on the prices of the synthetics (damn 6L sump!) To make a long story short, I bought 2 bottles of the Castrol GTX 10W-30, which I believe is just a basic mineral oil. Is the fact it isn't a synthetic (or semi-synthetic) going to be a problem? I'm planning on this oil lasting me 10k instead of the usual 15k.

    270kw aurion

"I have installed $3000 sub system, with 1200watts sub and 800watts amps. The base is insane and it will attract the crowds if you play great music. " I reckon this sentence alone informs the world what kind of douche this guy is. I'd send his a message requesting proof of output but the guide requires me to give him more of my details then I'd feel comfortable with
  6. Lower Grill is done and back on the car. Had to reuse my old sportivo grill until I can get it finished as well. This mesh is custom made - the lower sections alone took me several hours until I had them looking right. Also working on a little tid bit for the CF center console akin to the TRD Build plate
  7. Brakes - probably similar to what the TRD Aurion packs Power - very disappointing in something which can only be marketed as a sports car and with an RRP that high Handling - Likely the only strong point of the vehicle Appears it will be one sexy beast with no balls

    270kw aurion

They're claiming it's producing 270kw AT the front wheels, which means over 300kw at the flywheel. Me thinks shenanigans Link for those interested
  9. Whatever you want to fit it won't make any difference
  10. Nope, just a mod to make the fronts more efficient - After Mt Glorious the other day I've decided the current brakes are good but could use a small tweak to make them even better. The rears I've put off as they aren't in any way urgent Here's another front bumper shot, which should make things a bit clearer
  11. Kluger brakes are staying right where they are
  12. Another project - looking to subtly change the look of the front a bit more (and also preparation for another brake mod)
  13. Ask the exhaust shop fitting it for their professional opinion. The cost will be the same regardless, and any power difference will be minimal if at all.
  14. Try calling up wrecking yards to see if they have a door in your color. Aurions are appearing at yards fairly frequently now and a door is a commonly stocked part. Even if you don't find a correct color a wrecker door resprayed would still be a very cheap option. Also, in relation to an earlier post, please read the following http://grammar.about.com/od/il/g/ironyterm.htm
  15. He already said he tried that. Mate try removing your GPS SD Card and connecting it to the computer. There should be a config file in the root directory of the GPS software that should contain the settings for contrast etc amongst other things. I'm sorry for not being too specific but I don't have my own SD card available to properly guide you. Hi! thanks for the help matey! yea its not actually the GPS, I know what you care talking about though! Its actually the screen right before you enter the GPS! You will press the GPS button and it brings you to the mode in the First video I posted! Then you touch navigation! then it loads into iGo! Im soo screwed! :( It's very hard to see how the unit operates from the video. You wouldn't happen to be in Brisbane are you?

  17. HOLY COW! Thanks Mate! Much appreciated !!! ^___^ Been looking for it for whole day! No worries, it's amazing how much Toyota Aurion stuff you will find on Ebay when you search for "Toyota Aurion"
  18. Perhaps try ebay again? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Toyota-Aurion-2006-2009-silver-panel-lid-dash-/320783175692?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ab02ad00c
  19. I've seen white CF available around on Ebay etc. No idea how it would actually look though
  20. It has to be done per layer to ensure there are no trapped air bubbles. Plus using heat ensures the top layer forms to the CF properly.
  21. Dont buy carmate stuff, its all fibreglass and poorly made. My grill alone required a significant amount of work just to even fit!
  22. Have got the centre console almost finished. A few small issues to work out but otherwise the clearance issues have been mostly sorted. Sorry for the grainy pics.
