I've still got my new car smell after 12 months. I try to protect it. But if you really hate it, maybe get a friendly neighbourhood tomcat to urinate at the base of your front windscreen. That smell coming through the air vents will overcome any new car smell you had...

Any place that sells bulk ice can point you to a supplier, if they don't carry it themselves.

The 205's will put your overall diameter out by 8mm. The best bet is to shoehorn on a set of 215/50 R16's - only 0.5mm difference in diameter and therefore won't cause speedo inaccuracy.

Can anyone explain the suggested and seemingly arcane ECU resetting procedure? I have changed several times from the stock airbox to my CAI - WITHOUT disconnecting the battery and thus the ECU has not been reset. The ECU is always learning, so all resetting will do is maybe speed up the process of adapting to increased airflow (and therefore increase fuel delivery) with a CAI installed. But leaving it alone will eventually do the same thing... As for disconnecting for 30 mins, then idling until warm, then disconnecting again for 30-60 seconds, then driving the tits off your car - that just sounds silly. The second disconnection will just reset the ECU again so why bother? Why not just use Voodoo - it seems to have just as much validity and basis in reality as the above crazy procedure.

Sorry guys - the pics are up now. It's been dropped 1.5 inches front, 1.75 inches rear. The ride is much firmer, but still comfortable. With the thicker rear sway bar, and -3/4 degrees front camber, I've noticed that cornering speeds are WAY up. Looks better on the road and handling is much improved, but the best news is that AAMI has approved all my mods because I'm over 25. Happy as :)

My dealer uses Havoline Energy (don't know the ratings). I tend to change it out 5000km later for Castrol 5W30.
