      on the contrary......

  2. Kings say the low springs will drop them 30mm all round; but my Sportivo only dropped about 25mm in the front and about the same in the rear.
  3. 18x8" with 235/40/18" tyres will fit on the Gen5 no problem. They won't scrub on King Low springs but I had scrub issues on superlow springs.
  4. What pad are you going to run? If you ask me, I'd wait a week or two and save up for the JZA80 rotors + have the calipers rebuilt.
  5. Rage and throw them back at Hamish. In his face. Then laugh.
  6. perfect time man. All the bogans are at home watching smashy-smashy!
  7. Had a look on the DBA website for the JZA80 rotors and I can't believe the STREET series are more expensive than the 4000 series. RRP on the 4000 series isn't too bad @ ~$350; I am certain most sellers won't ask for that much. Just gave BHSS-TBS a call regarding prices on the RDA rotors for the JZA80 and you're in luck: RDA rotors - $143.17AU including GST per rotor to have them slotted (in house by BHSS) - $55 per rotor. So the total cost would be a touch under $198.17AU including GST per rotor from BHSS if you are desparate for slotteds. You'd probably want to bring your Gen3 calipers to them and ask them to rebuild them. They aren't exactly the newest things in town.
  8. Of all the times my car decides to throw a CEL because a knock sensor is being a baby. FML.
  9. Maybe you got confused with his story about how he sold his gunmetal ones on the car and kept the silver ones. It's easy to get confused around him due to all his wisdom.
  10. I have just spoken to The Viking and he has confirmed that these wheels are NOT his. He also has told me the gunmetal wheels are on the TRD he sold. The ones he currently has are the silver ones.
  11. TRD Aurion calipers are in however still waiting for feedback on the progress of the RDA rotors. In a bid to keep costs down, rather than modifying the caliper (to convert it from a banjo bolt setup to whatever Toyota usually use) I will ask them to modify the brake line instead. Given I was going to replace the brake lines anyway, this is a more cost effective solution. I just need to confirm a few details at a wrecker first, otherwise I will need to buy Toyota Genuine and then have the lines modified (which will cost a small, large fortune); which is not an option I really want to take. Anthony + The Viking has confirmed that I will need HIGH impedance injectors for this as well.
  12. TRD Aurion brake calipers have arrived. Huzzah!

  13. LOL. Nudge nudge, wink wink. Welcome to TOCAU ;) I need a picture first at least :D Welcome to TOCAU.
  14. For the moment, no front bar. Next to impossible to find; call it a future project. This is about the grille!
  15. Of all the things he will try to sell me, his TRD Aurion rims (even in Gunmetal) won't fall under my ownership.
  16. Dave the Viking??? Or does he have the Gunmetal ones...?
  17. The TS-01 is a dark dark grey, which may be a better look Will definitely put the Toyota logo in the space as wrll
  18. All I need is that front bar which is probably impossible to get as a part. :/
  19. If had to choose, go the Kmart price. I wouldn't pass up a pair of Koni Specials/Sport at that price including installation
  20. With the up and coming bodykit being put on, I'm somewhat torn as to how I should get my grille painted. The mesh will be black but I am unsure to have the outer part fully colour coded like this: Or to have it like the Camry TS-01 and have it like this: and yes, those bonnet vents do look nice... So what are your opinions? Match or Mix (fully coloured or black and blue)?
  21. I thought I remembered you saying saomgthing about giving me money for that. So you aren't going karting? I'm confused now. It may have been money related to previous dealings (port/rotors/pads etc; but I seriously can't remember) but count me IN for karting, provided Anthony does not drop any bananas on the track :P
  22. I actually voted no to karting, but what the hell. When in Rome
  23. measure the imp. of you current ones All I do is remove a power plug from one of the injectors, using a multimeter use the probes on both connectors on the injector?\ edit: On eBay US assuming I need low impedance ones, it will be cheaper to get a set of 7M-GTE injectors which I assume will run as they are top feed. Unless of course, there are issues running an injector at a too low of percentage of it's capacity.
