so guys... an update on whats going on... my cars back in my driving hands from 3pm tomorrow :) the panel beaters still got a couple of things to do but he let me have the car til he gets it in since i'm such a nice bloke lol :P anyways, i got my rim back from the polishing and repair place in coburg... looks alright form the outside, smoothed it out very well and built it up with aluminum and sanded it down. a few pics... except one problem... measured outer edge to the inner edge of rim undamaged part of the rim (for clarity its 190mm) repaired part of the rim (for clarity its 188mm) so its 2mm out... opinions guys? the rim repair place said that if he rolled it anymore, he'd risk cracking the rim itself. he said it will live on the rears fine. i whacked it on the balancer at the tyre guys place (near home) and he said there isn't much difference from last time. but he also said that will balance out and be fine in the rears also. i just don't want my safety to be comprised on the track with speeds of ~160 km/hr... i stressed it to him and he said it will be fine. 26 yrs in the trade and he never had a problem with repairing rims. he said to me that he'd seen much much worse and he still repaired them OK. Another thing, i got my OCV strainers for the VVT and VVTL valves :) sexy time is coming and hopefully this fixes my 7.8k limo problem ;) Kenshin out!

different insurance companies have different regulations. if the repair bill is more than a certain percentage of the agreed value (in your case its 20,000), they will pay u out the 20,000. you have to wait until they assess it and then contact you to inform you what will happen. good luck mate

Not saying that your friends have to take the group name too. And yes as u said that wouldnt make sense as they dont have a toyota/dont belong to tocau forums etc. Doesnt the form have like some type of group u belong to? Spectating is free guys. Only when u want to sit in the car with us u need to pay 20 bucks. Passengers cant handhold cameras inside the car. They have to be mounted securely inside the car But try and sit in one of our cars. It will be an experience ;) u will need all the things above with my previous post except license to sit in the passenger seat. Also i think u need to ask the organiser of the event (adam ronke) if u want to be out on one of the booths for camera shots. This must be organised before each session and i think they will drive you out to the booth of your choice before the session starts. Bring those tripods guys! :D Also trung have you thought of a group name yet? I think its time a few others and i should start representing this forum/club some way on the track... "TOCAU" perhaps? let me know what u think

great photos. do you know how long an installation of a control arm kit takes? Is it possible if I do it on my own? Thanks for sharing. u need the proper tools to cut and squeeze out the OEM bushings first, then squeeze/press the poly urethane ones in. if u dont its going to be a bitch to get them in. my mechanic didnt have the right tools and took him the whole day just to get the front ones in. very hard to take pics... as they are in the control arms

can a stock exhaust piping from the 2zz can be used on the 1zz engine? like... is it a straight swap?
