  1. you are NOT exsistent at work at that time. you are absent and sick :P Can you give me a doctor's certificate Mr. X ;) LOL thats a big ask. but i need u actually SEE you and confirm that you are actually sick first before i can give u one :)

  3. OP originally stated that whether the exhaust switch was valid or not. its not the problem of the exhaust tip being changed. FYI - outlet of the exhaust tip for a STOCK sportivo muffer is 2.25. the ascent models are 2inch. so if the seller welded it on and if you checked it, there should be a section of the tip that is larger than the ascent exhaust tip. that section of the pipe shoud also be stainless steel. either you didn't make your question clear or i read it wrong, thats why i gave that suggestion i did up above in the first place. but since someone else suggested it the same thing i did maybe you should word your questions more clearly so everyone can understand and help you getting the answer u need. i didn't tell u to invest in other people problems. me like many other people in this forum are trying to help you so please be a little more clear next time when asking questions kenshin out
  4. even if u dont compete, just come to cheer us on! we need some good people with SLR skills to capture us in the action too ;) or u can sit in the car with us, just make sure u dont puke -_- requirements for passengers: CAMS approved helmet long sleeve shirt long pants closed shoes 20 bucks (whole day) if competing: license (can buy on the day 50 bucks) extinguisher ISN'T REQUIRED TO COMPETE but recommended competing fee (160 bucks)
  5. was at the repair place when i took this... mad tread design eh? :D Cars ETA is sometime next week... i've added something new to the cosmetics... so stay tuned! ;)
  6. is the clutch slipping? yeah if its been driven hard, maybe u should change it... i think maybe 500 includes labour. get a lightened flywheel while ur at it :)
  7. RKT - have u got the stock clutch? how many kilometers has it done? clutch adjustment is a temp fix. when i adjusted mine. my full disengagement/start engaging point was pretty high. yet i still crunched/clutch grabbed when i was shifting at high revs from 1st to 2nd. change the clutch to an aftermarket one helped alot. only crunched the thing once and that was me being lazy -_- my stock clutch lasted around 120,000kms
  8. they should be made with the frame to replace the stock one. just remember if you are ordering them from overseas, its for the "e12 corolla"
  9. ok... i'll just park my car on the other side of the street -_-
  10. u can buy an aftermarket one and then chuck one on the grill urself? or are u looking for the genuine TRD one?
  11. for the first time in 2 and a half weeks i have finally touched my stivo keys...

don't molest them too much, or you'll drain the batteries =)

  12. im going to shoot you next time i see u sunny LOL. didn't get to meet yet and u sold ur stivo... gah...
  13. omg... 1200 u should have got a very good system for your car... was this the full cat back including resonator and muffler?
  14. with that set-up, not much. i suggest u get the extractors/headers port, flowed and polished first before you touch the exhaust. bang for your buck and u WILL get gains from the smooth gas flow and some gains in low and mid range then i'd be looking at changing the muffler to a 2.5 inch outlet with the 2.5 inch straight pipe. or if you don't have the money change the muffler first then the cat back. u will loose abit of torque changing the pipe to a 2.5 inch but when hitting lift, its a whole new world good luck edit: cat-back is high flow anyways from memory its 4 inch inlet and 3 inch outlet (correct if wrong)
  15. is anyone running 7.5inch wide rims on thier stivos without scrubbing?

  16. thanks guys :) yeah i was totally bummed out when i heard that. but anyways good second hand rims go for around 500-600 right? firesport is down... i cant think of any other websites that would sell second hand rims
  17. Rang the alloy wheels repairers today to hear the verdict of the rims. They are not going to repair them. "One of them is buggered. They won't allow us to fix them anyways..." When I talked to him it seemed like he didn't want to fix them at all (can still fix them but yeah couldn't be bothered or something). so i'm contemplating whether i'm going to buy it off the or not. Maybe I should just take the cash and that will go towards my excess... Sigh... R.I.P. ROHs wheels :(
  18. damn my rims cannot be fixed... :(

yeah i might do that lee... looks like i will track in my stockies for now...

  19. i'll give u 5 cents to take it off the forum
  20. the sidewall wil be 5% smaller. which means that will cause ur wheels to spin faster hence you will be travelling at a slower speed than what is actually being displayed on the dash. furthermore you will register more kms on the ODO. check in the manual if its size is legal as well...
  21. if you are really concerned... just take it to any exhaust shop and they will weld a brand new tip for you for around 100 bucks. if the rest of the car is good buy it ;)
  22. ARGH!!! I CANT GET THE OLD TMNT THEME OUT OF MY HEAD!!!

nah i will ring them later and see what the verdict is... all the parts are on the car and ready to go, just waiting on the rims :(

  23. did it look like it was welded on from the exhaust tip? minute difference. on our stockish cars, most sound comes from the intake...
