  3. yeah he got the heel-toe shifting trung :)
  4. whoa haha, u saved me and a mate some time going there to ask for exactly the same thing what resonator/hot dog did they give you? and what type of metal is it? is it mild steel or stainless? and is the bend mandrel? $290 seems to be a fair price but a bit on the expensive side... unless it includes all the things i mentioned... they installed my headers when i port and polished them to answer your question, yes its worth it. i recommend you get a decent resonator or "hot dog" to stop the drone/loudness of the exhaust. it will give u a headache after a while lol also a x-force muffler is a good choice, i'm getting one hopefully soon when the weather is nicer and not raining... i suggest you wait for one to sell on the forums. same sh*t for 2nd hand and its equally as good. with the suspension go superlows if you have the money just pop into pedders and get their xtreme coilovers. i'm running super lows on mine for 7 years + 2 track days and the struts still haven't crap their daks yet. but for your struts with the life on them, i do not know if this is a good idea. the wheels? 17 inch looks good but the tyres will set u back more than the 16s. thats why i keep my stockies haha :P
  5. 1) check your battery 2) check your alternator you know what voltage your car is reading and whether it fluctuates or not when the sound system is running?
  6. warping is usually human error when braking, if this is the case then getting slotted rda/dba aftermarket rotors would not make a difference. try changing braking habits and especially at the lights, take your foot off the brake and use the hand brake instead. this will stop the pads making an imprint on the rotors and therefore "warping" them. to answer your question, rda/dba are both good just make sure they are for your car.
  7. u gave me some good ideas man, i'll try those lines out the next time i'm there... ;) i'll be closely following u and learning haha
  8. sorry but after reading countless questions being new threads, i have to say this: u post questions that are legit but u seem not to understand that there is a stupid questions thread in the club lounge. even after many people have pointed out to you and you have responded that u may have got the "tabs" mixed up or something. even if u think it may not be a stupid question. its a good place to ask because it does not clog up the forum with threads with these types of questions look harder and u will find it. full stop, dot.
  9. Buy my 14' Impuls with RE55S's? :P if you can magically change them to 15x7s i'll take em!
  10. another one from me when u format your computer, whats the best way to free up the space for a clean install 1) full format (you have to wait for 1000000000000000000 years) 2) delete the partition and quick format cheers p.s. i did notice that from vista up, u cannot do a full format... would this be the delete partition and quick format option?
  11. thats bs, i always think i got caught but NEVER have bahahha... never say never -______________-
  12. NO FISH N CHIPS FOR YOU! YOU COME BACK 1 YEAR!
  13. negative... 7 years and 2 track days and they still haven't sh#t themselves ;) no sleezy faces please, i'm not gay
  14. negative... 7 years and 2 track days and they still haven't sh#t themselves ;)
  15. whoa thats a nice job there dude well done :)
  16. another one... ;)
  17. Dezzy's sportivo hot lap @ winton. Now you got your benchmark time it can only get better! ;) I reckon if u have antennas on your helmet u'd look like a fly
  18. just wondering...stupidly... if u can port and polish the intake manifold so the air flows better into the the engine? same as the exhaust headers?
  19. another one from me. does using an aftermarket brake/clutch fluid damage the ABS module? i use the recommended (dot3) for my car but my question is do you HAVE TO USE genuine brake fluid for your car? cheers reason why im asking is i was told by someone that using an aftermarket fluid maybe has a different compound and since the ABS module is quite sensitive, it will damage the module which will result in $$$$$$$$$$$$

  21. Winton was hot today...

  22. today went to get the O-rings in the plumbing section. also had to fill in with another washer to full in the gap between the cable bearings and the lock pin. and no more rattling noise from 3k + rpm ;) the order of the washers were this: rubber > gear selector bearing > rubber > small washer > big washer > lock pin PORN GEARBOX AND PORN SHIFTING!!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
  23. correct if i'm wrong but usually its the last 4 digits of your serial number. this can be found on the sticker that you get from the RTA. if not, it should be in ur service book or owners manual
  24. is glad the damn rattling noise from the gear selector bushing MOD is solvered! :D
