  1. i pulled mine down and matched the ports up in the middle join of my sportivo plenum, the holes wherent even lined up properly from factory, its all i have ever driven on so i cant tell you if it made a difference or not sorry!
  2. theres a few more bits than just motor to consider, you will need an exhaust also and prefferably the sportivo driveshafts, your brakes are smaller than the sportivo fronts which you will want aswell, the ecu you can use a sportivo one and get a locksmith to recode your key to the sportivo ecu and run the extra few wires needed or you can use the whole sportivo underdash loom and security but then you will need the climate control bits, airbag bits and pretty much the whole sportivo wiring loom and airbag control setup aswell to go with it. your dash cluster doesnt go high enough in rpm for the 2zzge either so best to get a sportivo cluster. if you get a sportivo you get climate control, leather interior, abs, electric windows and a heap of free time cause you didnt have to rip your whole car to pieces.... but if yours is a sedan or a wagon i say go hard and make somethign different like i have :P haha
  3. it may be your swaybar "D bushes" when they go dry they can make noises. Pull the brackets off them and use some moly grease on the inside of the bush and see if it goes away.
  4. or just call NPC here in brisbane and get something cheaper :P they make flywheels to order also for any application at good prices If going to the heavy duty clutch at NPC also ask for the TRD pressure plate, costs a bit more but the pedal feel is a lot more consistent and you can feel the clutch a lot better. It doesnt have trd written on it or anything fancy its just a slightly better construct and different steel used in the friction surface. Dave they just saw u coming haha. :P
  5. replace your headlight stalk and all your problems will be solvered! if it works on pull back of the stalk on high beam but not when u forward click it will be the stalk for sure, to replace it turn your steering wheel 90 degrees left or right and you will see a screw in the plastic trim hiding there either side, then one or two screws from underneath and the plastic trim will clip apart into two pieces and come off. then its just a clip and an electrical plug and the stalk will slide off, On a side note if your car doesnt have driving lights in the front bumper, now is the perfect time to get the stalk with the driving light switch on it and install the lights and micro relay!
  6. the flywheel is 2 piece. the friction surface is what the clutch plate runs against, instead of machining the flywheel you can replace just the "friction surface" or machine it if its in machineable condition
  7. i have a friend with a set of sportivo skirts and front lip in brisbane.... not willing to post them thou... is anyone in QLD?
  8. i would assume the labour price would include a wheel alignment afterwards which would be needed after replacing those parts. fulcrum also install a castor correction bush when they do the front arms which fixes a lot of the zze left hand pulling which i also had issues with even with correct wheel alignment
  9. sent a pm jdee, also got a 3s engine here with only 115 000km if anyones interesed in a good engine......
  10. ill take the cooling plate and maybe the seat rails, post to brisbane? pm me thanks dan
  11. so is this rusting in the garage yet or is it zooming through the streets?..........
  12. i have a pair of pedders bolts sitting here if anyone else wants a set haha
  13. what about a turbo setup for it? make more power.... i know someone selling their setup because they want more power again. their setup is a nice every day driver setup and not over the top.... its in qld too and you could go for a ride in it before it gets pulled out to see if you like it or not
  14. im running yellowspeed in my zze122 wagon, they ride well but they have a couple of small issues, the front struts dont have any mounting point for brake lines, the front clevis bolt holes in my opinion are slightly too big. im running 12kg rear springs and 8kg front which is the recommended for a zze122 wagon. im also running the "hardened rubber" tops they option them with. they are just knockoff aftermarket factory style tops, i would go the pillowball mount tops if i bought them again just for reference point for anyone wondering, you cannot simply swap between rubber and pillowball mount tops on the yellowspeed range. the springs, spring seat and strut top are different apparently,
  15. yep got one on mine right now, The Moroso sump i have sitting here is a lot better though haha
  16. typical! she forgot to close the boot when she loaded in the shopping bags.....
