Yeah, '98 318iS "Euro spec". Pretty much a 4cyl M3. Rare round these parts. Just had the interior re upholstered last week. Happy with the results. New seat re-trims, door skins and center arm rest. I was actually looking at the 1 series before i purchased the ZRE, just love beemers and rear wheel drives, and the "ones" can look pretty fat as you know. I should have looked harder at the second hand market, but prices were still a little too high. I would post a pic of my euro but dont wanna jack your thread. That is a top mount for the struts, which is poorly bolted to the front sill/end. No, i wouldnt recommend welding anything to it either, just buy a strut brace to replace the whole thing, which, also bolts to the front sill.

Go to your local toyota parts supplier. Get them to cross check the part numbers between the two. If they are the same, well, there is your answer. Also, might pay to drop luxsurfer a pm.. seems pretty knowledgeable kinda guy!

I dont mind the white/carbon look, teamed with black or bronzed wheels, its pretty pure JDM. I wonder what people would have to say if "fast and furious" was never made...

Heya peeps, just found out the FT-86 G will be at the Sydney International Motor Show. I want, no, neeed this car!!

They replace the whole OEM fog, They are "K Spec GARAX Projector Fog Lamp Prius ZVW30" your local broker should be able to source them for you. Price is US230-250 landed. Im also looking at retrofitting squids to the OEM fog, if it works ill let you know. Will be much cheaper too.

As the spoiler is most likely ABS, most epoxies dont like bonding to ABS. You will need a special ABS epoxy. Perhaps contact an epoxy or adhesive specialist in your area. Other suggestion is to find a place that does plastic welding, ie bumper repair etc and see what they can do to help you out.Im sure the plastic welding option would be easiest. Hope that helps

Heads up peoples, ATS is waiting on stock from WeaponR. No headers in stock at the mo, and also, like i thought, their postage calc is wrong. Postage via USPS priority Mail International (6-10 days)will prob be around the US150-200 mark. FedEX or UPS around the US400 mark. Stock is expected mid/end of next week. No sweat, im continuing with my order, and i did expect the postage to be wrong.

Spot on Ben, thats why i opted for the WeaponR as its a 4-2-1 system. I would like to see a little longer secondary length but we shall see how it goes. Considering the small amount of space, to get longer secondaries in that tight fit would require some pretty insane spaghetti work, using Special CAD pipework programs. Not sure anyone even most manufacturers would go to that much effort. If you have 3D alignment/ spacial tools, and nuclear (seriously) pipework design programs, a crazy spaghetti header would be possible... but that my friends, is in my dreams... :)

Im happy to Guinea pig for the price, if it was a 700 odd dollar header i would probably have thought a bit longer and harder about it. From all research ive done today, im very confident it should fit well.

Skype numbeing was doing weird stuff last post. So... from what i can work out, even though the part has another replacement number also, the headers will fit by the looks of it. Yipppeeee!

Ok, just called toyota spare parts. Exhaust manifold for the ZRE sedan and hatch are the same, as it is with all 2ZR-FE's. OEM#17141-37051 Sooooo hopefully the WeaponR headers will fit. Still waiting on WeaponR to respond, i assume early nest week Edit, just found the same OEM# on the US matrix 1.8 2ZR-FE 17141 MANIFOLD, EXHAUST Replaced by: 17141-0T040 17141-37051 2008.01- 2ZRFE.. ZRE142

4:2:1's too! excellent. I reeeeally hope these fit the ZRE. BTW. Ive been speaking to CES this week, and if things go well, there are possibly looking at making up some headers for the ZRE. A member here hopefully might be heading up there for a full system and CAI, so thats guinea pig #1 hopefully sorted if all goes according to plan. CES have asked me for some power figures and details so i think there is a good possibility of them actually producing a short run of headers and CAI's. I just shot WeaponR an email... Oh i hope their offerings fit!!! Let me know asap please! I guess we need a cross part # check on them.

Whhaaaatt? they look ok! still, the fender one is hitting the pinch weld isnt it? or does that fit in the gap now? Whats the action like now, smooth and does it lift the bonnet by itself? Were the brackets labeled the wrong way around cause i swear i checked it twice... like i said, i was in a hurry but surely im not that daft?

HEya jtron, yep i made them up and installed them. Pretty easy to make a set or sets up if anyone needs them...
