  1. You can also lightly sand and spray your levin badge black as you like, all over. Then use a syringe with red enamel paint slightly thinned in it to very very gently fill in the depressed "levin" text. Doing it this way you can always wipe off any excess red paint. Should prove to be the best method. Sorry guys, i still havent molded my levin zr badge as i said a while back to make black versions... been a bit too busy.
  2. You may be able to get some lambswool ones made up with the retarded stitching on the side for the airbags, there is a lambswool seat cover manufacturer right next to my pilates studio, ill check it out when im there next. Ah found the addy: Airfleece 562 North East Rd, Holden Hill, SA 5088 Northern Adelaide p: (08) 82619999 f: (08) 82619466 Give them a try.
  3. 250 is a bit pricey, you could easily get Di-Noc Carbon for less than that, and its easy as to apply yourself. BTW, thanks for the Takashi link, great fast delivery of my hood dampers! Overnight delivery!
  4. Yep just as John said, give them a vector file of the TRD logo (.eps) which can be scaled up or down easily and true to type ( hereTRD LOGO FILES) and chat to them about pinstripe thickness. Reflective films will cost 2-5X more than standard 3M vinyl. Might also pay to ring a few of those mobile pin striping guys, they may be cheaper than the sign writers. You should be able to scale up the rough size of the lines and logo off the pic. Can always get the logo done at sign writers and the pinny guy to lay it on. Those pinny guys are very quick and good at what they do. More so than a s/writer at laying neat true lines. Be sure to leave the ends of the pinstripes short of the tails as i have shown , or it wil look too busy, Best of luck. PS, there are a few different logos in the link above, the ones with the dropped "R" may not work so well, dunno, havent tried em yet. I think it would interfere with the lower stripe. Also make sure the red stripe matches the tail light colour not the wheels. The black of the wheels and wheel gap will brake the colour match there, its more important on the body to get colour matches right.
  5. Well im still trying to chase the right alignment, todays pickup was ok, sharper turn in at low speeeds, but a bit too loose at higher highway speeds. Im planning on softening it tomorrow too, i think its possibly too harsh. Ill get there, im super picky, and i will end up with what i want, eventually. :D
  6. Will, Dont lose heart. Ive deliberately not replied here cause like everyone says, your styling is up to you. Now Im formerly a sign writer, and im used to trying to bring forth peoples ideas (as poor or good as the may be) and make reality of their thoughts. Sometimes its the hardest job ever, sometimes its easy. You just have to get into the headspace of your customer. Heres a quick idea that may smarten up your pinstripe idea.. Using the dual pinstripe and TRD logo, it kinda works and looks much neater. I also lowered the car a bit more (probably more than you will want). What do you think of that idea? Due to the placement of door handles and mirror base, you will have to work with a line that matches the main body line, not quite window sill line, but just off. This pinstripe/TRD logo combo would be easy for most signwriters or pinstripers to apply. You could also opt to do the red pinstripe and logo in reflective red and reflective back respectively.. would look mad at night. Saying that, when people say to take styling cue from people like John, Wy or me, they dont mean flat out copy us like BKS mentioned, just have a squiz at it and if you like the style mold and shape it to your own liking. As for being "rice" personally i cant stand the term, but i spose it has its place. Hey, i know a swag of people dont like my blue LED interior, nor some of my VIP crazyness (more planned), but f*ckit, as long as i like it or at least try it out to see if i like it thats all that matters. Dont build your car for others build it up how you see fit, for yourself.. Nothing wrong with your own styling, it just seems like you have asked quite a few people for ideas then just ignored them... thats what has upset them.
  7. 09's seem to be quite firm, very minimal dust at all. Not sure if facelifts have a different pad.. I wouldnt think so but maybe?
  8. Isnt this a HOT ZRE thread? :D Just jokes... Im sure someone out there likes it. :P
  9. Smooth VIP Odessey, mmmmmm yummmmm. That "Sublime" rotor powered green S15 way fly as hell, heaps of beautiful work in that car. Looks like they also added some exhaust tips to the ZRE after Adelaide... wonder how the foam cups are holding up!
  10. Mixed feelings here. The new ZRE coils seem vastly different to my beemer set. Harsher in feel (not hardness), and bit knocky compared to the beemer setup. Not convinced the valving is that good or maybe even oil viscosity isnt quite right? I also had rear left knocking issues. We adjusted the rear piston travel to be more even ie 50/50 at the ride height i had. i think it may have been bottoming out. Back at Pedders again today for more tuning. Also encountered some weird shudder from the front drive shaft (left again) and this may be due to it being too low (pffft), vastly changing the drive shaft angle too much, but im not too convinced. Had to raise it 10mm and seems to have removed most of the issues (saying this im not sure if any other problem was rectified at the same time) . Im thinking it was and or is something else, cause timing of this wobble also coincided with front pad change and dropping the rear by 7mm. Too many variables and it was fine before the pad change. Looked at sticking caliper pistons but apparently no problem there. Dunno. Im a bit stumped, and annoyed, but they are trying their best to fix the problem...
  11. Welcome to the ZRE club! You def in the right place. There are a swag of members here that have done the grind to help point you in the right direction. Dwee has just started to compile most of our work in a ZRE Corolla FAQ. You will find some info here for starters. Otherwise try searching for "ZRE " in your general searches, there is more and more info being shared weekly. The rolla's do have a bit of road noise, try looking into dynamat or similar sound deadening materials if your keen... Im heading that way very soon. Enjoy!
  12. I see they have also removed/ shaved the front fender indicators. Im pretty interested in doing this, but not sure if its worth the schpondoolies. Might still get a quote...
  13. Happy here too. If people need larger text they can always hold "Ctrl" and scroll mouse wheel up for larger, down for smaller to zoom the site. Saying im happy is one thing, the blue was easier on the eyes.
  14. Heya, Ive just cross posted this incase others havent seen it in the club lounge... Just wondering if anyone has had an order stalled or no replied emails from TRC - Tuning in the last few months? I was just about to pay for my Heckspoiler and then Thomas, the guy i was dealing with there went missing. Nada, nothing, no reply in almost two months! Ive just emailed all their possible emails including the swiss ones, so lets home someone picks up. Alex also called them twice with no answer, morning noon and night. Hmmm.. hope they havent shut shop! Anyone else had any problems?
  15. Ahhh bugger Mick, glad the missus is ok. There doesnt seem to be any roof warp so it may be fixable. Still, depends how much chassis damage there is. :(
  16. Good work Vihn, But i dont think we have that plastic underbody shield to deal with. Cutting the stock bar, well thats easy enough if you dont mind doing it. I would opt for good 3m automotive double sided tape instead of glue to attaching, but saying that, polyurethane/urethane adhesive would work very well. You could probably get the thin rubber/silicone edging the sportivo/modellista kits use too to seat the skirt well. My modellista spec rear skirt is only d/sided on, those bars underneath and side screws. As for tow hook, i think ours is in a slightly different, with my modellista skirt there is no way i can reach the tow hook with the car as low as i or we have it. That TTE/Euro auris skirt comes with an extended tow hook, the modellista did not. Still, whos game? I would be if i didnt love my Modellista skirt so much!!
  17. Found this and thought some of you guys might be interested.. Auris rear skirt I assume it will fit, cant be sure tho. It looks like the rear bar is the same as ours here... Not bad price.

  19. YEah our kit should have had them included . They can be shortened if you want a hella flush fit like mine: Lookin great John, cant wait to see the next step forward!
  20. welcome to the club :D now how low you riding?
  21. Intake, exhaust, springs, sub, rims! (my order of pref) :P If you search for things like "ZRE exhaust", "ZRE intake or CAI" etc you will find a plethora of bits and pieces. Also check out some ZRE bits in the audio/electronics forum. Enjoy modding your Rolla!
