The color temperature of the JDM bulbs will emit a Ultra White (6000K), Brilliant bluish (8000K), Deep Blue (10000K) or Light Purple (12000K) It is perfect for customers who are looking for the better performance and exotic looking light output for their loved vehicles. 3. I remember reading on a few Lexus forums that the Garax bulbs are good and work. Anyone confirm this?
  4. And, well, while not a real ZRE, its a pumped & pimped version of, i can see some of the ZRE lines in there.. Lexus LF-Ch Concept High res front LF-Ch High res rear LH-Ch I wouldnt mind one of these.
  5. 2010 Auris hybrid concept for Frankfurt: mmmm... glass solar roof! "Toyota finally builds a hybrid for which, judged solely by its style, I wouldn't have to perform self-eunuchization in order to drive it. Now if only divine intervention would see to it that every Prius-containing ship which set sail for America would take a nosedive into the Marianas Trench. Given the number of non-hybrid cars that have lower emissions than 100g/km, this better beat that figure otherwise it'll be dead on arrival in Europe. And whats the point of a hybrid that can run in petrol only mode? Sure its unique, uniquely useless. Power comes from a 97 bhp 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine and a small electric motor which is connected to a Nickel-metal hydride battery (basically, it's a fancy Prius). Unlike most hybrids, the concept can be driven by the petrol engine alone, the electric motor alone, or a combination of the two. Thanks to this unique setup, the car can travel on electric power alone for up to 1.25 miles (2km) at speeds up to 31 mph. While details are scarce, the hybrid is expected to accelerate from 0-62 mph in about 10 seconds. Fuel economy is said to be "class-leading" in the combined cycle, and CO2 emissions are expected to be below 100 g/km. Ultimately, it is the five-door concept's interior experience that will be a big selling point. The roomy interior is made to feel all the more spacious with its full-glass roof. Well, not full-glass. There are solar panels built in to provide power for the ventilation system. Those in the cabin will be surrounded by blue Gaucholino leather, with light blue stitching. The relaxing blue hue is also used to light up the instrument cluster. Ambient lighting is also used at various points. The blue is meant to reflect Toyota's hybrid division, which is also seen in the vehicle's badging. Padded carpeting is also used to make the vehicle more comfortable. Exterior changes have also been made to this Auris, seen in the new front end, and new front and rear bumpers. This is meant to give the car a better look, while helping to reduce the drag coefficient to 0.28. Front and rear lighting is also done with LEDs. Toyota plans to put the Toyota Auris HSD Full Hybrid on the market sometime in the second half of 2010. The car will be built in the UK at the company's Burnaston factory, just outside of Derby. By 2020, Toyota hopes to have a hybrid version of each of their models on the market.Source: Toyota The production Auris HSD hybrid will be built at Toyota's Burnaston, UK factory in mid-2010.Source: Toyota" Dam those reflectors!
  6. Ive been looking at the Focal range of underseat active subs. They do an 8 and a 10. I didnt notice MB are doing one too. Im not after earth shattering bass, just some nice low end fill. I guess they wont stack up to larger boxed hard driven beasties, but im over that these days, just need some low fill. That MBQ is dam cheap, i think the focal is around 350-400.
  7. Heya Whitey, Just unzip the file and copy the whole thing to your blanked SD card. Its all ready to go. GPS lock is weird. I double sided it to the same spot, i didnt peel off that sticker either. It seemed like a foil sticker and was a bit scared to do so! Its a tiny GPS receiver tho, maybe a larger unit would help? or is it the position we have it in? Sometimes lock takes it a min or two, never more than 4 min. I guess its the priority that the GPS receiver gets as the signals are bounced down. I find if your just in and out of the car, the signal stays strong and lock doesnt take long at all. On fresh start ups, can be up to 4 min. Not sure why, but im used to it now. Like i said, there are a few glitches with the unit, but nothing that im too stressed over. For the price its a great little unit. The lock lag could also bee software problem but i havent asked any questions re that.
  8. No prob man, glad to help. So you got GPS to work without the SD card? How did you manage that? Terrain make nice shades and topical variations, ie hills, parklands, land contours ect. The maps look far better with it :) I think from that site you have to buy the SD card with map in the accessories area of the store.
  9. Heya Whitey, wasnt it supposed to come with the SD and maps? Have you contacted the seller? Heres mine (with TRD splash screen, R17 update and terrain)310Mb - backup purpose only! jeebus that took about 2 hours to upload!
  10. Ahhhhhhh :) It took me a week to work out how to bloody get 2-zone working with the NAVI running. Man i was getting well sh*tty! As you would know, its almost impossible to bring up the blue menu up top and selections down the bottom while in NAVI mode. In the upper top left area of the screen when full map page is up, tap just above the binoculars. You should bring up the blue menu with that tap. Then tap 2-Zone, and the input you want to hear your audio from. Ie hit 2-zone, then USB, CARD or whatever, you shall then hear glorious music from your selected source! There are also simple track skip etc buttons on the lower area to the right. Give that a go! If you cant get it to work and need pics ill take em tomorrow morn. Ohhh this part caused me soo much pain till i worked it out. The instructions are all but useless! Ps, dont forget to remove that protective film off the screen, its just for shipping. I think i can see it on still
  11. Hmmm, havent come across that yet, I would say it will be the park brake or hand brake in the auto-detect settings part. I recon you have turned on that emergency/park/handbrake setting, and as its probably not hooked up (mine certainly isnt), the unit thinks that you need to pull the brake up in order to clear the screen. This is normally a legal/safety requirement for lots of countries. They are not allowed to operate the GPS unit without the hand brake on/up. I recon its in there somewhere :) PS, put the terrain maps in the SD card too, man it looks hella better! Oh and update that map wit R17. Be sure to backup twice before you start playing, then back up in a separate file with each mod you make. :( My cds are still in the OEM HU. Gotta find that pinout..
  12. Ive got one of those TRC rear spoiler on the way :) Yeah, the TTE spoiler simply bolts straight on. Same fitment as the ZR style.
  13. Magazine is out. I just got an email from JP saying they are sending out copies to the people that got in. Australia REPRESENT~ :)
  14. Well, the prices i have seen are a bit obscure. Check nengun for rough price: KYB Lowfer Sport KYB NEW SR I think they would be around the AU1600 mark landed, plus springs. The advantage of coil overs is you can obviously adjust dampener/rebound rates (those coil overs with adjustment) and dial in exact ride height. So, your still looking at almost 2k or just on for the KYB's installed with springs. You wanna hope ride height is spot on to what your after or thats another set of springs.. I would probably opt for custom springs from K-Mac for exact required ride height.
  15. Sure can. If your referring to the ZRE, KYB has released "Lowfer Sports" struts for down low springs, or Or KYB NEW SR Special. They are available in Japan, also on YahooJapan. Matched with a great set of down low springs, these would be awesome! Not cheap tho!
  16. Thanks Daryl, I eventually found them, well a whopping massive file (3.62 G) with all maps, terrains, buildings etc. Linky Im just trying it now. Its a bloody massive file but you can narrow it down to just the parts your after. Hopefully this version works with my version of iGO. If posting links to external sources isnt allowed, please tell me and ill delete the link.
  17. For those interested, iGO GPS software can be tweaked, skins etc and splash screens changed. See DJKOR's thread here : iGo splash screen My splash screen: More tweaks: Update R17 Australian map Linky (need to register to see link) Terrain - Australia Linky (need to untick all other stuff you dont need. This may not be the most recent terrain map but its a good start, its in :iGO 2008/iGO8/defaults/content/dem/australia.dem) Let me know if your not allowed to post d/l sources.. ill delete these links.
  18. I know this is in Aurion forum, but heres my ZRE splash screen update: Nice and simple yet effective :) Now if i could just get those files...
  19. Heya, DJ, Seems a lot of the needed terrain, buildings etc etc files are now dead links. Does anyone have them? Yes i have registered on Austech, but it seems all the add on files are gone/removed from the upload sites. Thanks for the tips too :)
  20. As far as i know they are built here. Not imports. Ive run them on my Beemer for almost two years now, havent had one problem, and will buy another set for my ZRE. They usually have good firm (but not crazy) spring rates, you can also ugrade the spring rate if you need and the dampening is very effective. Most Jap stuff is hard to f*cken harder. The Pedders have far more feel and difference between soft medium and firm. Im very happy with them.
