  1. Spot on. I would estimate AU400 for shipping, another 10% GST and Duty on top of that, plus International Bank TT fee . Castle Hill seems like a better option if your really that keen.
  2. Headed out to Mallala Motor sport park this morning. Private drift day was on.. my mate actually lasted more than an hour this time! The 'ol S14 normally throws or burns thru something by the hour mark, today seemed to shake that hold. Main point was sus setup and a good ol thrash. Sometimes it hard to just sit and watch your old sport... -_- While i was sitting on the sideline (and i forgot my zoom lens ) i looked across at the Rolla and thought i would snap a few of the beast anyways... I liked this one the best, although i could have done with another light source, its nice anyways..... Still deciding on weather to install the Modellista front garnish or not...
  3. Neat, I like. For some reason your ***** looks wider without the wiper... :) Excellent. Orange sets it off well too, nice combo.
  4. Nah, im using stock ones, the smoked LED tails are more JDM style, not so VIP. :)
  5. Just thought i would update this thread. I decided to install the 8w T10's in my swapped parkers as i mentioned previously in this thread. One of them has recently popped. Im not sure if its was a dud bulb, or the 8 watters arnt meant to be run all day (i use my parkers all day) as they were taken from the map lights in the forward dome. When i removed the popped bulb, there was minor scorch marks on the bulb holder. I assume this may have been from the hotter running 8w, but the 8w that was still ok showed no sign of scorch on the holder. Swapped back to 5w for now. Might go for some SMD t10's down the line.. Just thought i would mention this in case others followed my suit with the 8w T10's.
  6. Some of us have done Cold Air Intakes... see this thread : Injen CAI I dont think too many have done short ram intakes with pods. Too much heat in the engine bay to be effective i think, plus a loss of torque with short intakes.
  7. Geebus. Glad your alright. Ive had a similar thing happen years ago with the 1J Cressia. After reporting it, later the next day i was notified that there were a number of car jackings in the same area that night. I was boxed in by two cars, luckily they underestimated the power of my car and my ability to drive. I normally wouldnt recommend driving like a crazy fool in semi residential areas but sometimes you just have to, even if its not the right thing to do. I would rather leg it like you guys than risk a stabbing or worse. I would say there would be more in that guys body than alcohol, all bets on he was a ice-head as well. Typical behavior.
  8. Nice work! Love it all except the green decals... grey or black would have suited better, although i know thats the fusion colour scheme. What muffler is that?
  9. I have the equipment here to cast the ZR Levin Badge, i was going to make carbon or matt black versions, with silver or red fill... Might get onto it if anyone's keen. Black badges look mean, i like!!
  10. 17's? Fair price i say... thats only just over 100 bucks each with tires. Not bad :)
  11. I mentioned in another thread that Toyota will be releasing two more "niche" vehicles this year. I would say that the FT-86 will be one, and im hoping the Blade will be the other... I got my Toyota contact to push for details, but they were very very tight lipped, not giving away anything. I assume we have to wait for a leak to be picked up by the motoring press. Now back to your regular scheduled ZRE hatches thread... ;)
  12. The front cut will happen soon enough, it will just take a while for the prices to drop. Prices dont seem to bad at the moment actually, looking at between 2-5k for engines.. In fact, i was already considering a Rumion or Rukus front cut, the 2.4l 2AZ-FE.... The Rumion also shares the exact same chassis. Superchargin a 2AZ-FE wouldnt be too bad. Or stroking it...
  13. Facelift tails on mine... Hope that helps. Sorry for the black'n'white.. still give you the idea. Ill whip up a colour one when i have time.. The red in the tail should probably be a bit darker... I would hate to know what they will charge for a set of new facelift tails... Ouch!!
  14. Jtron, i have found LED park/brake light/reflectors to replace the plain reflectors. In red/ clear or smoked. They may add some 'usefulness' to them if your interested..
  15. The facelift tails seem to lengthen the rear end somewhat, reducing the stubby facelift look (not that there is anything wrong with that :) )
  16. As far as i remember, the blue (on facelift) had been deleted here ... I may be wrong tho.. Me too, cant get past the reflectors...
  17. Facelift tails on a non facelift, not bad, at least there isnt the 'kluger' reflective pooh-bar!
  18. Looks neat. As your already going with the Black'n'white combo as well as the JDM style, i think it would suit well.
  19. I wouldt think that was legal, nor practical. SMD or LED strips are mainly for safety and good looks. HID's in foggies as we know are problematic for most installations. Generally these SMD/LED strips are used for daytime running...
  20. Yes you could do that, but ive yet to see a chrome backed SMD strip. This cover has a proper chrome housing and clear cover. Not just a stick on. Its much neater that just sticking on a strip.
  21. Heya, I just found these on Ebay: LED FOGLIGHT COVER For anyone interested, im not sure if they are direct fit for models under '10 but the page seems to indicate that they are...
  22. Thats neat Chicken, i like the look :) Very nice...
  23. Granted there is not much room there, but you could probably fit it a custom spaghetti 4/2/1 if someone had the time and money to make up a set. Ive seen some crazy exhaust programs lately than could do the job. From that link: While im tempted at looking at these, im not willing to loose what bottom and mid range power we have, there just isnt enough there to begin with.
  24. Good to know! Thanks, I checked out some scion headers before but looks like that US company didnt end up finishing them for porduction. I would personally like a 4/2/1 setup as squat 4/1 systems are not always the best option, nor do they pull the best figures.. They are however, easier to manufacture. 4/1 Are know for top end wide open power, but lack the pull thru the low/ mid range. With the 2ZR-FE, i dont think you want to loose any more low/mid range and just work on what mid-range we have. 4/1 may be a good option for track use, but im not sure for street everyday use. When i talked to the owner of Advanced headers here in SA, he only recommended 4/2/1, as time after time, 4/1 just didnt cut the mustard. He recommended against a 4/1 system. Do you plan a before and after dyno check on them? Whats the quoted cost inc shipping?
