  1. The 5050's are bloody bright, if your after a subtle glow, i would say go for the smaller type,3528 or so. Even this general type would prob be just enough... I think i have 2 or 4 of this type here in amber, blue and red if your keen.
  2. Im lookikng at some 18" x 8 et 45 at the mo. These should be fine for ZRE. anyone else running similar size? Prob run 205/40's on them.
  3. HAh! I was thinking the same thing!! :D Man, i didnt think red heat would be that popular!
  4. I accept payment direct to my account via EFT (electronic Funds Transfer) or Paypal, but i have to add 2.5% to the total for paypal. Sorry you missed out on the red ones!
  5. You need a HB4 kit. The HID kit type you need is the same as your Halogen bulb, this is for fitment in your headlight. The HID (ZR) headlight will require D4R globes, which fit the HID headlight sockets...
  6. Dwee, the footwells are controlled by the dome light. I could easily add a switch but they are fine for now. They glow on as you walk up to the car, and fade out as you leave. :)
  7. Just found this... Available here... ebay Germany
  8. First imports have landed. Smoked LED ZRE tail lights, Price AU$445 + registered post + insurance (most eastern states AU$32 extra, WA around AU$50) I have 4 pair. 2 pair look like they may be sold already, so 2 def up for sale. I am making nothing on these, only covering my costs. Chicken, If your after the ZZE tail light, let me know and i need to get more in ill add them to the order if your keen. Pm me if you serious. Ready to ship on arrival of funds. Payment made by EFT preferred.
  9. Both Red heat are sold. Sorry. I didnt think the Red Heat would have be popular, so i only got two. Ill get more sent over when i do my next order. Anyone else wanting Red Heat, please add your name here.
  10. Measurements seem exactly the same, 65mm X44mm. If the emblem thickness is the same, it should fit. But as they are a one shot item, i couldnt offer refund if they dont.
  11. Ok, got VSC to turn off (holding down while stationary), and now since i have done that for the first time, TC disabling seems to work. Weird. Thing is, TC disabling is speed controlled. Now i can turn off TC under 53kph, but it turns back on after 54kph. It cannot be turned off again after 54kph. Stupid huh? If i remember correctly, the face lift ZRE has this problem fixed. Driver has total control.
  12. Sorry John, your right. I just happened to look at the one for the face lift. There is also a set for pre-face lift. Same part number. James was the one who told me they may not fit and were for facelift. Something like this? "These braces dampen the engine’s torque, recovering wasted motion into forward momentum." - Stillen Dunno! Thats what the translator thew back at me
  13. Not that easy. These are thick clear plastic, not thin stickers. From the looks of it, they are 2 or 3 layers thick, sticky on the bottom, printed in the middle and what looks like polycarb top.Getting a thin vinyl sticker into those gaps would be a nightmare!!
  14. Original one stays, these are inlays, they go in the gaps of the emblem. Neat fit, around 0.5mm gap all the way around.
  15. Nope, havent tried that, surely you can turn it off on the fly?
  16. Big Pete, looks like my light doesnt work then.... Hmmmm... Yeah seen the TC flashing :) daily! but havent seen TC off anywhere. Off to toyota tomorrow then. Cheers
  17. Heya, Ive just noticed that there is no way to tell if the Traction Control is turned off on the ZRE zr. On any other vehicle i have owner with TC, it normally shows when the TC is turned off. As the button for the ZR is push only, there is no way of telling if TC is engaged or not. You have to spin the wheels to check Does anyone else have TC and is there supposed to be a warning light that comes on in the display area?
  18. Blue Heat steering wheel (Air bag type) have arrived, i have 9 of them, and 2 Red Heat. Prices are AU$35 posted each. I prefer registered post, but not sure on the cost of that... could be a little more. These are for ZRE, if others can measure their steering wheel emblems i can see if they will fit other models.
  19. Thanks for the scientific input <_< These are only released for the face lift ZRE, will not fit models before Oct 09. Also spoke to James at Castle hill. He has no other info on these either. Landed here around AU$1500! Yeah, would want to something pretty special for that price. James also thinks they wont fit the export model, but im not sure if the export model is any different to the local Jap release...
  20. I had a thought while sleeping last night... yep, thinking about squirrels while sleeping... Are these more about harmonics than strengthening?
  21. There is plenty of room at the rear of a rolla, you could almost put it anywhere.... I would say its just behind the rear bar with a down turned tip... you could simply just shorten the stock axle back length to hide it.
  22. Thats what i kinda thought, im sure they are used for a reason. We obviously dont know how much force it will take initiate the dampening. Perhaps its TRD way of making a stiffer chassis without using a solid bar. Im thinking it will act as a solid bar untill forces exceed what they think will cause issues with the mounting brackets or the rails them selves, then the dampening will initiate? Depends what the compression initiation is set at i suppose.. Although, as the sales spiel says, its for - "Gritty" "shudder" is eliminating unpleasant noise and vibration, improving comfort during the journey. It doesnt mention structural rigidity. Hmmmm....
  23. Not a solid bar, a dampener. So, i assume from this, there is considerable flex in the rails thats transferred to the body. These must reduce the "noise" or vibrations buy reducing and slowing the noise transfer from each rail.... Dave, does that sound right?
  24. Dave see here: http://model.auto-style.jp/index_car.php?p...imit_car[]=15G1 Translation: http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y...sl=ja&tl=en Ah, if i clicked one step further i would have seen what it was... sorry fellas! front and rear Hmmm... wonder how much they help reduce twist... interesting... Not cheap tho, probably around 1k AU$ when landed. Hopefully that for the pair!!
