  1. Thanks, hopefully they replace it with the new one :)
  2. Pod? as in CAI? prices depend on where you get them, i got mine from ebay, US seller got here in 4 days, but that cost around AU150 for postage if i remember correctly. I think there are some Aussie suppliers.
  3. For sure its a rolling gyoza! wonder if its crispy on the bottom steamed on top or the generic deep fried variety?! mmmmmm..gyoza :)
  4. It may be the older MAF sensors maybe? mine is an late build 09, only done 8k. Still haven't had any problems after the CAI install. I always run 98 octane (Shell Optimax), never E10 either. Silly question but can the MAF be put in backwards? (sorry but i just can think of anything else!?) Just noticed that you guys with problems are 08 builds. Is that correct?
  5. Cheers :) The eyelids are fiberglass, black gel coated, so painting is as easy as a light sand and base coat, colour and clear. Cant wait to get my last rim and rubber this week :) Think ill still go with the S-Drive or A-Drive R1's
  6. Most parkers just need a quater or 1/3 turn and pull out (normally anti-clockwise). The globe bulb itself is then just pulled straight out of the holder/socket.
  7. Japan, I have one set left here i think, pricey, AU$290!
  8. Heya, I now have an "error 3" on my screen when trying to play any cd in the 6 stacker ZRE stereo. Cd will not eject, nor will "eject all" input work. Done what the manual says and no go. Ive herd from my contact at toyota that the stereo is faulty on a few levels. I also have a sh*t of a time trying to pair up bluetooth, and once its actually paired up, it drops out and wont pair up again... apparently there is a flash for this problem... anyways, anyone else had "error 3"? I guess its off the the stealer again.
  9. Forgot to take photos of the Injen... but took some of the AMS eyelids fitted... and the tail end :)
  10. Drove around all day today, no engine lighto B)
  11. Has anyone else noticed a reduction in accel lag between gears with the Injen installed?
  12. I couldnt wait, just installed my Injen CAI. All i can say is wow! I didnt expect such a boost in performance. I think the Injen works/ may work better when you have the exhaust done, as im pretty sure i gained around 5-10kw mid range power for sure and more torque to boot. It pulls much harder from 3,000-6,500. Has changed my exhaust note, nice and meaty now, it was good before but now it sounds like i wanted. Intake sound is growly from 3-5 onwards. The little ZRE can breathe now, no more pre-pubescent Chief Wiggum asthma stylie any more. No engine light so far, fingers crossed. I only ran the car for 20 min and no light yet. B) Ill put some pics up tomorrow. Ohhh yeeaahhhh...

B) I suspect the MAF may get coated with a thin film of oil from the filter, that may cause the light to come on... Who else is going to join the Injen clan??
  14. Depending if the resonator is also at an angle, you might need a small return bend to straighten the pipe before the tip, but the workshop should work that out easy enough.. Depending on tip, anywhere from say $20 to 80-100 or more for a dual wall SS tip, labor say half hour, so anywhere between 20-50 bucks. Dual walls: Dual wall look much neater... depending on what your after tho..
  15. DJKOR is spot on. Screw or bolt on are gumby! Go to a decent exhaust workshop (or shop around for one you like) and get them to cut the old one off or back and weld on the new one. Is the ZRE sedan the same as the hatch? ie weird downward pointing tip and angled resonator? Makes things a bit harder than the usual straight pipes..
  16. Installs all go well? How did you guys deal with the lower bracket and the silicone hose? did you make up another bracket and cut the silicone? Beat me to it guys... How long did the install take?
  17. Yep i didnt say they were cheap! If you saw the size of the box they came in you would see why they cost that much!!
  18. I know what you mean, im just trying to avoid my work here at home! <_< Yep mang, 2 pair left. Hit me up with a pm when your ready. B)
  19. Awesome thanks for the prompt answer :D
  20. Update: the Jap throttle body is only 2mm larger. No power figures could be given. Hmmm ill skip that and get it done locally if i find another TB somewhere. Advance will look into ZRE headers/extractors. Expecting a call next week. He can also pass me onto someone that will make a one off custom set for around AU$800. Ill keep looking..
  21. First of my Work rims arrived today :) oh man, these are nice wheels. Tomorrow another, then another and another.... its like Christmas for a week long!!
  22. Charlie, so the top mount fits ok? is it just the bottom mount thats in the wrong position? Can a bracket be easily fabricated up to suit? I would rather make another mounting point if possible.. Also you mentioned shortening the silicone pipe?
  23. Tried squeezing info from my guy today while i was at Toyota. Nothing yet on Blade/Master. Hes heading off to Toyota conf next week, he will try to get some answers for me. Maybe BKS might know more? All i got was the API for the Rukus (Rumion)...
