  1. Jezus riding a dino, that is awesome! :D
  2. While not as well composed and im still needing a decent lens for my camera, last nights shot:
  3. Charlie, Easy direct fit - same as OEM, i would say the Prius and ZRE share the exact same part number for the fogs. I wired mine to the parkers for now, once i get my fandangled switch ill hook them up independently. Easy to fit, but adjusting the projectors may be a bit of a task. I also extended my parker wires to make it easier to remove and insert them, so just run some more wire off the extension to the rings. Cut off line as installed (not too bad really) although i suspect the Injen podfilter may actually be pushing against the garax changing the angle...its a tight fit in there and i might even lift the pod up a bit. normal night time shot Pete, those two words have more than enough descriptive power!
  4. HA! Mr Peter, soo many of my asian contacts call me that! Some night shots of the elusive squid rings... ^ with grill and projectors on Man for some reason my down-scaling of pics is turning nice shots into visual turd :(
  5. Ok, i bailed on work this arvo to get some work done on the ZRE, Garax Squid ring projector foggies installed! Might try to get out tonight and get some night shots. Not quite as bright during the day as i had hoped, but im sure they will beam at night :D Adjusting the projectors will prove to be a difficult job. With minimal light, under the front of a slammed car while trying to get to the adjustment screw... not on ramps or stands? Hmmmm how the hell do i do that?? Ah, also added the chrome strip to the front grill to see if i like it... not sure yet.
  6. Let me know how you go Ray, and what technique he uses.. Everything can be done, for a price!
  7. Great to hear from you Neil, sorry i havent herd of/from you before either. Have you done much with the 2ZR-FE?
  8. Heya Peoples, man ive been flat out the last few days, crazy stylie! Peter, One new part arrived yesterday Another today but Im waiting on more parts to arrive so can make up what i wanted all at once. John, Will try to get some more shots soon for you. Oh, and waiting on a stupid AU120 switch to control all this madness!! ;)
  9. Yep should be fine, as long as the diameter is no larger than say 11mm. 5050 SMD type will fit. Flux type probably wont as the bump or lens on the chip increases the total diameter.
  10. Might pay to put the Wedge size next to the corresponding light with its size to make things easier. Reverse lights are T20 wedge Rear Parker are T10 wedge Front Indicators are PY21W (also another corresponding number)NOT the ones you have shown in the pic, but are the offset pin type (euro type) Front fog are H11 Double end are know as "Festoon" and i think teh Dome is 31mm from memory. Great idea to put it all together!
  11. Dam i so want a S/C! nice car man!
  12. Yep its sticky thick gummy tar like butyl rubber backed onto thin aluminium sheeting. Pretty easy to work with, cuts easily with kitchen scissors, a small craft roller like Big Pete mentioned is useful for pushing it down firmly but not needed. I washed down the area with metho first to get better sticktion! Easy. Lookin good Pete!
  13. Ray i looked at pulling the rear guards last week at a pro painter. Not a good idea, as they are double folded, and the fact that the rear bar comes half way up the back radius with a pretty evil corner there. Rolling isnt really an option so i was told. It would have to be a full manual hammer and dolly job, thus needing both sides to be resprayed up the rear pillar and the doors to match the panels up properly. Would be looking at a AU1,500 job there abouts. I cant fit my 5mm hubcentric spacers on either, studs are too short with the Works. :( With longer studs tho, they may juuuuuust squeeze in with my 225's.
  14. Neat examples ddr11. Chrome isnt really VIP to me. Like we have said before, VIP is a true stylers style. Awesome! Nursing a car around cause its soo low rocks! Mind you, bags help if you need to conquer speed humps or the driveways from hell.
  15. In that case, of course, most i know are true blokes blokes! Ps, ive revised my vote!
  16. Blokes bloke? well, kinda but not really, kinda. Im sure most of the Petes i know are blokes blokes, but i think this is totally blown out the water when it comes with an addiction to ZRE's! Well, if this was a commodore or falcon forum, yes, i would say we would all be jacks & coke swilling winnie blue sucking blokes/Pete's. I think the Pete's in these parts are far more refined Pete's :P A health addiction to Japanese stock, good food and throwing cash at parts and audio bits seems a bit too far from the old style bloke. Yes, of course we have the honest dinkum traits still within us, just modified and honed. All for the better mind you :D Share a beer, well i dont drink that much but i would gladly share more than one with any of them i know! Discuss
  17. Pretty sure its 65mm or 2.5" I wouldn't recommend you connect the pod directly on to MAF pipe, you may want to reduce the air turbulence a bit before it. Sayin that i havent done it so try and see how it goes....
  18. Thanks man, i knew you would see this :)So too problematic you think? Supposedly they have run these for a few years with no problems. Will check out your recommendation thanks.
  19. Heya, Just following on from the 2ZR-FE thread, ive just contacted NST and asked if they can offer a group buy deal on their 10% underdrive lightweight pulleys for the 2ZR-FE's. They have it listed as a Yaris engine but im pretty sure its the same as ours. Im probably going to get one myself but thought i would extend the offer if they come to the party. I assume 10% under drive should be safe enough? Can anyone chime in on this? info: NonStopTuning Pulley Kits Our most popular pulleys for the Toyota Yaris, the NST Lite series is a designation used for pulleys that are light-weight versions of their OEM counterparts. All NST pulleys are built using High quality 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and are easily 60% to 70% lighter than steel or cast iron OEM pulleys. The NST Lite series is designed for owners looking to reduce weight and increase the throttle response of their engines. These OEM-diameter pulleys will neither underdrive nor overdrive the associated accessories, yet lead to great throttle response and improved horsepower numbers in many applications. Our newest pulley for the Toyota Yaris, the NST Underdrive Crank Pulley increases horsepower via great weight reduction (75%) and the underdriving of accessories by roughly 10%. Each NST Yaris Kit is carefully crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, tested and balanced to high tolerances. Every NST pulley is hard anodized for exceptional durability and is a great item for use at the track or on the street. Available in your choice of colors: Red or Graphite Gray. BENEFITS Great weight reduction - Average of 70% over OEM Increased horsepower - Average of 6 - 8 horsepower Lower ET's & higher trap speeds - Average of .20s & average of 2MPH NST08010 10% Underdrive Crank Pulley 2009 Toyota Yaris TS 1.8 $128.00 Underdrive Think of it this way, underdrive means to slow down. Underdrive crank pulleys found at NonStopTuning are designed to slow down engine accessories and reduce parasitic loss. Crank pulleys, attached to the outside of the crankshaft, are the source of power for a car's accessories. The alternator, power steering, water pump, and air conditioner are all belt driven units, attached to the crank pulley, that use horsepower from an engine to provide their own services. This draw of power by these accessories is called parasitic loss. NST underdrive crank pulleys increase an engine's horsepower by reducing the power required to drive these external accessories. By replacing factory pulleys with carefully resized units, the accessories are slowed enough so that their performance does not suffer, but just enough so that more horsepower is sent to the wheels and put to the ground. Where horsepower should be! The R&D team at NST is dedicated to developing underdrive crank pulleys that provide great gains for track days and continue to deliver proper accessory output for everyday street use. NST equipped cars do better on the track, benefit from increased accessory life on the street, and also deliver better mile-per-gallon fuel efficiency.
  20. Ben, the manifold idea hit the wall, from what i can see the lightweight crank pulley is for sale here, or here i might try one out too. Might try to start a group buy again, anyone interested?! Might make a new thread for it... Just emailing them all now.
  21. Wifey wants turbO!! Trrrrruuusst me! :D
  22. Those black ball tabs arnt correct, the ones mounted on the bonnet will hit the channel on the fender when closed, and the ones for the channel on the fender are slightly too wide. The guys that sold them too me said they should be the same between sedan and hatch, but obviously they are not, and they didnt tell me this when i ordered them. Iasked him to check the list for "Auris" as these would fit, but by then he was over it and didnt really want to help, just told me to send them back with invoice for refund, oh, and postage at my expense!
  23. Chuck the dimensions in here Wheel offset calculator You will see how the extra size will be spread out. Hope that helps
