  1. Hmmm, thats no good. I think the general replacement would be for only that one unit. I think spring wear/ softening would be more of an issue than strut wear re ride. That sucks.
  2. Looking good. I see what you mean re the chrome emblem on that grill. Looks neat. Footwells turned out well also. Nice work B)
  3. Oi! If you go bags man im there too!! I topped up on all my megs products the other week, i feel slightly robbed now :D
  4. Very neat. Most excellent. B)
  5. Oh thats a pity Steve, I know we are both suckers for detail and fitment. The pre on facelifts vs the other way around is no where near as bad. If i was to use your or a new pair of facelifts, i have a big overhang. Spose, we could both custom the rear bar but thats gonna cost some big bucks. Buy the needed rear bar, slice and plastic weld the required bits, finish off and paint. Man, thats some effort. Pity. PS, i wouldnt expect to see any LED or smoked manufactured facelift tails for at least a year or more. Unless you DIY some!
  6. Excellent Pete, great work. Its great how nowdays the software (and skillz) make it possible for us to capture the glory of our memories. Thanks for putting that together. A+++ my friend.
  7. Great to hear Ben. Some nasty posties will gank stuff if they see a label or something on it they like and its not registered or tracked. This can happen with car parts quite often. Not saying the majority of posties are sus, 99% of them are great, but stuff like this does happen often enough. Nengun even offer a stealth postage, ie, they scrub out or repackage the goods in "Brand free" boxes to avoid sticky fingers getting greedy, so it must be a problem enough for them to warrant this assistance.
  8. Ben wait a few more days till early or mid next week. You should have got them by now, but Austpost does some weird things sometimes. BTW, John might have spied them in his truck and re-routed them to his place! :D Just jokes, sorry to hear you havent got it, that sucks. It always pays to pay the extra for tracking and remind the contact to pay for tracking. I hope they show up.
  9. locking the most funny thread in such a long time is no fun. Mind you , the breast cancer awaeness comparison was the final cut for me... what a dipsh*t. Burn MF burn!!

  10. Nice vid of Johnnie's run. Looks like your doing pretty well. I would have loved to have a crack at it with some different tires and rims. You running OEM brakes?
  11. Is "baking a cake" young people code for something else?
  12. Thanks Johnnie but i think Ben originally posted the link, still, Im happy to guinea pig tho :D
  13. 5 pages of the funniest sh*t ive read in ages Classic.. True or not, her f*ck up isnt your problem.. unless she was not allowed to drive to your place for a shag. Even then, let her cop it, its not your problem.. Mistakes are made... thats what life is about.
  14. Designed to fit the OEM frontpipe. Im still running the standard frontpipe and cat.
  15. is dam happy the WeaponR header are a direct fit! happy with the results too, check my ride thread...

  16. I can confirm that the WeaponR headers fit our OZ ZRE's. See my thread for info.
  17. Man you guys were quick! :D I got them from Todd @ www.autotuningstore.com. Very helpful guy. Please remember with group buys, anything over AU1000 will attract GST and Duty. Plus postage to other states (unless the melb crew GB for themselves) I dont think WeaponR will drop the price much either. Saying that, good luck! :D
  18. Installed the WeaponR headers today. Luckily they are a direct fit. Spot on. Im happy about that. . Now, as for power increase. 3-5kw mostly mid range, a tad more power duration at top end. Drives better than it dyno'ed. Much more free revving, better pedal feel, quicker rev drop once the foot is off the pedal. Far smoother power curve, More power up top ( all these things are personal interpretations of the feel of the vehicle) the driving feels better than the dyno results. I must say. I still think im down on power since the fumbled Toyota service/injector clean/ oil change. As i mentioned, it felt like turd once i picked it up from Toyota the other day, almost in limp mode and it wreaked of fuel. Initial dyno results came in 12% under previous run after the exhaust. No dyno has been done since the CAI install so i cant discount that either. Weather was very similar both runs. It feels better now than when i first picked it up from Toyota, but still not on song. SO, i would estimate almost a 20% drop in power post service/injector clean/oil change. I see the variables as this: 1, Something happened to the injectors when cleaning, or the excess fuel screwed the cat, but its the most unlikely of the variables. 2, The 5W-30 Castrol Edge Sport is too thin, and causing Cam timing/ VVTi issues. - Possible/very possible 3, Toyota updated the ECU software and wont admit it. This is highly likely as my tuner has seen this before. Toyota (and other) manufactures will not admit they update the software version, as it could cause legality issues if there was/is problems with previous versions. So yes, Im happy with the feel of the headers and their effect on the power and smoothness, especially for the cost. Im still not happy and cant chase this issue of lower power. I wish someone would crack that dam Toyota ECU security coding so we can flash tune this POS!!
  19. HEya Timmy_G. Nice wagon, you still in Adelaide? Have a chat to Mark at Exhaust Tech, had mine done there a few months back, loved it and heading back this week to trial fit the headers. Lids and Grill look the biz :D
  20. Ah good work Johnnie, if i knew you guys were hitting the track i might have stayed another day or two! Get those times down :D
