  1. Yep do as DJ mentioned. I always get the windscreen replacement option for 20-30 bucks more just in case of things like this.. I only just had the beemer window replaced with a new one, due to heavy wiper scratching. I said a truck threw up some gritty mud and it killed the windscreen (which is what actually caused most of the damage) easy fixed. Replaced for nothing. Short of that, yes, i would try the epoxy window chip fix. If your really annoyed with it, the 'wetting' action of the epoxy should make the chips far less visible.
  2. Good find! By the look of them you will still need to solder them together anyway to join two of them.. or use cumbersome terminals.
  3. Quick PS of the two wheels... Ignore the lack of dish on the rear.. Clouds: Zelo's: Hmmmm... i just dont know... I hope im not catching JWFS, (Johns wheel fatigue syndrome) :D
  4. Thats probably the labour cost, last time i checked i think they were charging upwards of 180+ per globe. Depending how old the original globes were, you may see a slight colour difference between them, wait till they warm up and check it out... Good to hear minimal fuss was the order of the day :)
  5. Toms has discontinued that S/C. Pity, cause it had electronic clutch, new ECU and watercooled intercooler, front pipe, cats.. Im not in that much of a rush.. Plenty to do til then. I can still dream... :)
  6. Dont think so. You can solder in the male/male connector or solder in the wires direst to the strip.
  7. Ha, gave her a good old thrashing today ... Feels quite good to change between the two cars. The Zr is a great little buzz box. I think i was getting a little too used to the fun drive. Well, as for future plans... Im not going to chase any more power, without a reflash or re-programmed ECU, i dont think there is much point. Body mods, done and completed. I do have one more major cosmetic mod in the works, but i had a little hick-up, and just trying to decide where to go from there. 90% of the work is done, i have to finalize my decision or bite the bullet and fork out more cash..Hmmmm.... I can honestly say that the last month has been crazy busy with work for me, so almost all projects (inc new products for the biz) have been put on hold. Fear not, the ZR is still being lusted over Im looking forward to a few weeks off i tell ya!
  8. Ohhhh.... check it: trust-greddy-supercharger-kit-ucf30
  9. I think the face doesnt change curve that much, maybe a little more with High Disc like i need on the front, but from what i can tell, they pretty much are the same across the board. Only pic i can find, apart from heaps of VIP mag shots is this one, this sealed it for me... This is the Zelos: Oooh so nicey.
  10. Thanks John... Sooooooo... Clouds or Zelos? Clouds: Or Zelos:
  11. Looks maybe like a larger diameter n(maybe 1/4"), but i dont think there would be much gain.. Bloody neat work tho.
  12. Keeping quiet i say. I asked if i could put a deposit down and they were waiting on model specs before they took it...
  13. Similar results and comments were given to me last dyno, i considered re-installing my OEM airbox too.. The computer cant use all that extra air efficiently...
  14. Yeah the Clouds are nice, the stock rotors are whoppin huge as are the calipers. I like the fuller faced rims for luxobarge stylie..
  15. Not many of them around cause they were AU$157,000 new!! :o Luckily i saved AU$117k and it only had 65,000km on it. Very Very low k's for a 2002. I think ive found the wheels i want... Amistad Cloud, 19's.. Still looking tho.. Or Trafficstar STR 19's... I love the STR's, but a little too aggressive. They just scream "look at me!", Im not sure i want that, i want subtle luxury like the Clouds... Ive found a set of new Clouds in Japan..
  16. is not sure if all Toyota Nav run Whereis, but i have V16 2010 data if anyone is interested, i can post the links..

  17. Thanks :) Still have the ZRE for daily zip around, the LS is more of a weekender/ going out car. I wanna keep the K's low on it. Most 2002's have done between 120-220 thou. Thats why i jumped at this one. 4.3l V8, VVt-i. small V8 but all alloy and plenty of torque. Yeah man, traditional herbs actually make money, unlike "non" traditional.. well, these days anyway :D I keep finding more and more buttons to push and prod! soo much electrical motorized fun! Oh, and i managed to get a full Toyota/Lexus 3 year new car warranty with it too.
  18. Sounds like normal Toyota incompetence. Funny how they have such great sales people, yet almost all service people are farqwits. I dont think its the techs fault out in the workshop most times, its the w@nkers at the service desk.. "Service managers" my butt, they couldnt organize a root in a brothel. Hope things look up for you sooner than later.
  19. Yeah i just wanted to sort out the kit and low then things will slowly sort themselves out from there.. wheels next obviously :D but if i start this new shop, things will slow down quite a bit... Handles bloody well, quite light for a large car (only just 200kg heavier than the ZRE), double wishbone does the job nicely. Transmission is possibly the most amazingly smooth trans i have ever had the pleasure of driving. Havent really booted it much, but the power is there alright. Needs some paint attention, and a claying rather soon too. Thanks for your help Chicken, greatly appreciated.
  20. Full VIP treatment. I have a Admiration "createur" lower lip, rear skirt, sides, grill and muffler cutters on the way from Japan, rims and other goodies to follow. Probably bags when money permits etc.. 30mm low SS kit on its way, should be here next week. The car is immaculate inside and out. Heated and cooled front and rear seats, fridge/icebox, 14 position electric seats, driver position memory...bloody everything.. Only thing it didnt have standard was the airbags..
  21. and it has arrived....

  22. My new baby finally arrived today. 2002 LS430, only 64,000km. I have some plans for the future....
  23. is eagerly awaiting his new car, hopefully i get it thursday or friday! :D
