  1. CHA54: yep, my point exactly as why i was dubious about the whole pdf thing... I cant see Toyota or TRD swiping pics like that... Funny how the piping on the yellow GT is very very similar to the one you posted of the turbo GT Fielder: The Rotrex does have the advantage of fine tuning with the compressor wheels able to be swapped out for others..
  2. Good to see more info, thanks. Rememer it says "Concept" Interesting it shows the "RS" as base.. Is that a ZR? havent herd of an RS release before. (John, Im looking in your direction ) Its got the AE too, 108kW. Hmmm, so if its got the AE, then the ECU may be different, which means maybe not a direct bolt in kit for us.. Is the Valve-matic merely an oil pressure advancement or solenoid controlled? Autronic may still be needed... Ok, it says S/C on the TRD site (which is more reassuring).. but those pipes? Why would you put a S/C on the hot side of the engine?? 150kw at the flywheel, would equate to 30% less at the wheels. so almost back to 100kw, 25-30 more than what we have now... unless its boosted harder
  3. So 20k without leather, cause leather is like i said, over 2.5k... ( i know the actual cost of the leather re-trim buy its self without markup but not allowed to say, sorry) an thats too cheap.
  4. What it says and what it shows are two different things... Also remember TRD Australia tried to work with the ZRE too a while back, John posted pics a while back.. Like Xoom said.. it stalled dead in the still waters.... Im not doubting the fact that there is a forced ZRE, just what the pic and flyer says are conflicting...
  5. Leather seats are an option. No ZRE's are imported with leather seats. They are re-trimed here in AUS by another company. "Pantera" do all the leather work for the ZRE's. Its quite possible that the accent was floor stock that already had the leather trim as a demo/floor show car. Cost is just on or under 3K. Thats fronts, backs, headrests and door trim f/r. Normally local well trusted trimmers are used to install the re-trims. Im 99% sure its the same for MY11's, especially Ascents.
  6. booked in the LS for service next week. I get a free loan car... wonder which current model they will give to me? :D

  7. This has all been covered before. Please search the forums...
  8. Im still thinking this may not be a "real" release pdf. The resolution is different with the turbo pic with parts, its a HKS kit picture (look at the catch can at the top right of the pic) also, the form clearly says supercharger, the plumbing tells another story. That plumbing for a turbo. No reason S/C pipes to go to the rear of the engine (where a turbo would go) S/c woul dbe at the front.. The yelloow demo car must be turbocharged. The rest of it all cool, but not convinced on the turbo/SC setup.... Yes, i want one..! Or the kit at the least, and that carbon knob!
  9. M1 is reminiscent of the 850 front end kinda... unless the 850 was like the OG M1?
  10. Cant quite remember... think about 1200 landed from Japan.
  11. Last pic is the Modellista one i have but the dual exhaust garnish Is the one from the UK fiberglass or ABS? Not too bad a price..

  18. 195 40 on 8" Pirelli Falken Wouldnt call that hardly stretched...not crazy stretch but enough for good looks..
  19. :D You better run!! Ok, dont wash a hot car, or wash a car in the direct sun, not the best for the finish and heat can speed up any "basic" (caustic) effects of a non-neutral wash. Sponge is ok, but you need to change them very frequently and have a lot of wash to keep it well lubricated. I and a few other here use Megs wash mit, and i think Mothers has a similar product. Best thing ive ever purchased for cleaning.. Try the two bucket method, it ensures no grime/dust particles hang around to cause damage.. Also how old was the wash? There are a few peoples on here with much more experience than me by far, hopefully one of them can chime in... ZRE's are notorious for some dribble spots that cause a light white run mark no matter how well you rinse them. Under the side mirrors, and a few either side of the rear window are the main culprits. Hope that helps if any... A light liquid polish should remove the marks you have there...
  20. Which product did you use? What did you use to wipe it down? What did you use to wash the car ie micro mit/sponge etc? Did you do the two bucket system? Did you wash in the sun? and how hot was it today?
  21. Is Johnnie the knob pimp now?
  22. How does the knob handle Johnnie?
  23. If i didnt buy the LS430, i would have started collecting bit to do it..... <_<
