    Im still surprised that no one can feel the difference. Its not huge, but the engine does rev much more free at the top end, and the power curve is extended by at least 500-700rpm. Now i could safely say that it would be better with a 7500rpm cut out. I also feel that the decel is smoother and it doesnt "hold" revs as bad as it used to.. Surely im not trippin?? No difference under 4500 is noticeable. Its all top end. Guys? Im not finally losing it am i???

      just watched this and this guy took few hours to do the headers for the subaru... so I am thinking whether my mechanic is correct. That video is also pointing out to replace the gasket as well... I need to do research myself about this..any ideas?

      That almost a full exhaust with front pipe, matched headers ext and a boxter engine. Far more work than our simple setup.

    Ben you have to get the phone to recognize the head unit and viseversa first. Check you manual, or better still, go to your toyota dealer and get the salesman to show you if you cant work it out. They should happily help. Also, there was a recall for the HU's for Blue tooth instability. Not sure of the exact details but its a known issue with ZRE HU's.

    Nah, took them to exhaust tech just in case i needed any mods done while trying to fit them. Not sure any local manufacturer wil have them soon. CES havent said much, i sent them a pic and things went cold after that. Its still going to be cheaper to buy them from the US while the dollar is good. I think CES headers are normally around the 600 mark.

    Well thats what i was thinking Johnnie. I can only say this was the case with mine. Im not sure if it has to do with the exhaust flow also? (wow that sounded really noobish :D) I have definitely noticed an improvement. Beyond a doubt. Saying that, i cant be effed driving 3/4 of an hour to do another dyno run with it. I will if i have time but im so busy at this time of year i just cant see me having any time till after Xmas.. I can honestly say that was the problem, its now much pokier and back to being fun to drive. The 5W-30 did rev easier, but just wasnt on song, something wasnt timing right. Now i know many of you guys are running 5W-30, so maybe Im more sensitive or maybe you guys are more used to it? or maybe the injector clean + oil change made it far more noticeable to me? Dunno. I know im much happier now! :D

    The sway bars? Yes, they can be fitted without the removal of the springs. Ben, its up to you really. Sounds like you dont push the car all that hard, so you might not need it.. up to you really.

    Well, took my ZRe back in today to have the Castrol Edge 5W30 dumped out and replaced with the semi synth 15W40 that Toyota use for the ZRe. I have gained low and mid range power back, and the torque to boot!! While the engine does not rev quite as freely as it did with the 5W30, the power had returned with the change over to 15W40. Much better mid range and top end power and its back to normal now. The guy at toyota insisted it wont make any difference, i said i dont care and want it changed. I was right, as was my tuner that has seen things like this happen before with thinner oils and VVTi systems.. Whilst the 5W30 may fell more free revving, i think it is effecting the cam/valve timing. Im happy again now :D

    Yeah i had some cheap-a*s honkers chrome strip there to see if i liked the look. It half fell off on the drive to burn :D ordered the proper one as soon as i got back. I like it. OEM chrome is so, well, chromey! A guy on Rakuten is selling them, i think you may even be able to order them from Toyota direct.

    doesnt like black ops much, no skill, just reaction time... one shot wonders and way too arcade like with tiny maps. Close enough is good enough for most shots. Back to BFBC2.. real war... :D Flame suit on!!

      I wont tell you NOT to get it. Im sure there are plenty of people out there that love arcade action. Im a simulation kinda guy, and Black Ops was just turd to me. A sprayfest thats visually nice. Not accurate, not skilled, just fast and close enough with tiny little maps, or "arenas" is a better word. Feels like laser tag i used to play as a kid. :D

    Pretty sure they fit, check the ZRE thread for differences between facelift Vs pre. I dont think suspension has changed, but i could be wrong.

    Im a PC BF1,2/BC2 old timer, MOH i found horrible (only got it for the BF3 beta invite). How does COD stack up? I mostly play multiplayer on line...

      Yeah, only really play Battlefield series, been playing it online for bloody ages now.. almost 8 or 10 years. Other games just dont interest me, apart from Driving games on the pS3, STILL WAAAAAITING ON GT5 DAMMIT!!! :D :D
