  2. spotted a silver stivo in st.albans with head lamp protectors and personalised plates. it was dragging an XR6, making lots of rattles, is that anyone here
  3. nah it didnt, <_< so after all that, i figured why waste a great day and a clean car, so i waxed it B) its not as bad after waxing it, so im gonna wait for the wax to die, and then im gonna bug+tar each panel one by one when i get the time
  4. hey all, just wanted to ask if anyone has used paint cleaner before? ive got deposits all over my car, like specks of build up, which rub off, when u run it really hard with your finger. it doenst seem to wash off with normal soap and water. yesterday i removed one of the toyota badges, and found that with mequires bug and tar remover, this build off comes off too. though im hesistant to use bug and tar remover on the whole car, im thinking of getting paint cleaner, and then giving the car a wax. does anyone know the whole deal with paint cleaner? or if theres anything i should know before i go get some. thanks in advance -rich
  5. welcome P’¢¡šT! u can pop them in the coin holder when you have them. it holds like a good 3-4 coins and it doesnt even take 50 cent pieces <_<
  6. just a small 2mb clip of some guys in a stivo vs a clio, slightly amusing =) would work better if there were subtitles, what do u think the t-sport driver is saying? Clio_vs_TS.wmv

  10. i've been stuck at my desk all day trying to study for my last exam, in between making cups of coffee and clicking refresh on this forum, im going insane. i cant wait til its over, then 3 weeks of kickin back, taking it easy, and partying hard. enough with the study already, gimme that perfect shift at 8k into second, keeping it just above 6, lift all the way B)
  11. yes they are very easy to install, but they come unpainted. JR autoconcept, in box hill (vic) , paint them for $50 or less, color matched. again, kcorro can help you source one so PM him if your interested.
  12. get in touch with kcorro, he has a source which can get em cheap :)
  13. i'm considering lowering the car by 40mm. has anyone else got their ride that low? and if so, how is the car up marginally steep drive ways, and speed humps, and day to day obstacles. im guessin the main place where it would scrap would be underneath the car, not so much the front skirt.
  14. xoom would know, as he contacted the ADR. and he specifically said in his post, that it wasnt a power issue that made the stivo get pulled off the shelfs if i recall correctly. if there is a problem with the car, such as not producing the proper power, i am sure toyota will rectify the situation, we just have to sit tight and cop it. it would be a different situation if they offfically said there was a problem but the were not fixing it. i am sure that they will fix it free of charge, and maybe some sort of compenstation, perhaps in the form of free sevicing or something. but if you boys want to get a letter together, i'd be glad to sign it and support the move.
  15. i dont think i will make it this time unfortunately :( , tho i would love to hangout with again, i got killed on my exam today, so annoyed <_< , i dont deserve to have any fun. unless i get over it in the next couple of days, i will have to catch with you boys at the next one after my exams are over.

  21. Just got home from the meet, it was awesome =) nice meeting you all and seeing so many stivos all together! sorry i couldnt stay for dinner, study awaits. what happened in all about 15 or so cars rocked up (in lift of course ) we then moved to holden and lined them up. after that we decided to move down to toyota for some proper photos, a quick run or two, and then dinner. personal thoughts awesome to see the stivo in action from the outside. it seems as tho noone could refrain from hitting lift thru out the day . thanks to everyone who made it on my behalf hope to do it again soon. kcorro is organising a meet for next sunday same place, so if u couldnt make it today, come along to that. photos here are some photos from my camera, wasnt sure how to host them on atoc, so i chucked em up on my webspace, if u want the full versions (twice the res, 1.5mb) PM me. msg me if any busted links. full version full version full version full version full version full version check out the billboard in the background :D full version full version full version

  24. good going lucio :P anyone have any idea how the stivo would run against the camry sportivo? in wheels mag they rated it 0-100 in 8.4, and i think the stivo at 8.2 (we know the stivo can do much better) tho since the stivo can spank some holdens and fords, guessin the camry wouldnt stand much of a chance.
