Gday all, ive recently upgraded my internet service which included a wifi modem, so Ive got no use for this equipment. 1. D-LINK WIRELESS N ROUTER [DIR-615] - bought this only 4 months ago. If you already have a decent CABLE/ADSL modem but want to add WIFI, this is what you need. For all the specs, check the d!ck smith >> HERE 2. BILLION ADSL2 MODEM/ROUTER - bought this back in 2007. Yea it is a bit old, but it worked well with the d-link router. SELLING BOTH TOGETHER FOR $100. Since the D-link is still being sold at d!ck smith for $138 - the same price i bought it for.. i dont think $100 for the lot is a bad deal. Includes setup discs, cables and inline splitter. i got used to foxtels EPG.. very convenient. if freeview offers a similar service (my previous HD tuner had no such feature) then i guess thats a good thing. meanwhile... must get antenna fixed. apparently jims antennas dont service my area.. will keep looking.

EPG = the tv guide like in foxtel?

Ive just been to the FREEVIEW website to see what all the fuss is about - and it really didnt answer what Ive been wanting to find out.. whats the difference between getting a HD tuner with FREEVIEW and an HD tuner without the FREEVIEW feature? went to Big W and saw a regular HD tuner for $99, while the same brand HD tuner + FREEVIEW was $149?! if anyone can help id really like to know, thanks. sometime around 4pm today - spotted white silver facelift corolla.. im assuming was maximus on Woodstock Ave @ Mt Druitt/Rooty Hill. Frontbar, skirts, rims, wingtips, Loud ***** VAREX exhaust :P never heard a corolla exhaust so loud hahaha!

8am this morning - GTLOST @ rooty hill shops. pretty certain he spotted me as well.

Gday guys, It seems as though i may have screwed up my antenna, since I cant get any decent reception on my HD tuner. All ive been able to recieve recently is EXPO (shopping channel), NITV, SBS, Teachers/parliament channels and thats about it (im in sydney). So that means no 2,7,9,10, go, or oneHD... sucks! What actually happened was that the plug in the wall for the antenna was loose, so much so that the cable was slowly creeping out of the wall. right now it looks as though 40-50cm of cable are coming out of the hole in the wall. Just wondering if anyone in here would be able know how much I should expect to pay a professional to fix this? id also want to add two more antenna outlets in 2 bedrooms as well.. any useful advice would be much appreciated. i changed my mind on elvis.. instead of placing a portrait of his face, i decided to go hard on elvis and place a full body portrait of elvis right next to m.jackson... makes sense, and michael looks pretty lonely up there by himself. unfortunately ive wasted at least 3 hours doing stencils i wont even use... heres pics of the work done for not. please excuse the fact i still got to rotate this... close up of the full body elvis stencil.. thought it looked good until... as you can see here, comparing size, michael looks a mighty bit bigger. NOT HAPPY. this is closer to the size i had envisioned... could have sworn i had the measurements accurate but as it turns out - not accurate enough. these pics are actually of the 2nd full body elvis i drew out. the first full body elvis was destroyed by several students after i left the picture hanging up on the wall over the weekend. stayed home on the following monday coz i had the flu over the weekend and the room was trashed (what do you expect when casual teachers take over your classroom... not giving up yet.. will make my next attempt to continue the project next week.

at my ripe old age its getting harder to search amongst all the thread in this forum to dig for the info im looking for. ive looked but i didnt spot threads about my particular tyre size. it looks as though many 1/2zz corolla owners on the forum that upgraded to 17inch rims use the lower profile tyres. my tyre size for my 17s is a bit bigger, being 215/45r17. just wondering if there are any other corolla owners with this particular size tire have their car lowered either at king low or superlow height. what would be the best option for 17s with this type of tyre, coz the way my rims look, it appears as though i may experience some scrubbage around the guards if i go the superlow route? any personal experience, links to specific threads pics would be greatly appreciated.

when i view a thread i see the entire 1st post, while everyones replies are summarised and id need to click on each one to view them underneith. now, i never changed my own settings so it must have been an admin thing or whatever, but id like to view things without having to click on every damn post! how do i fix this on my account??? ive already taken a look and theres nothing in there thats changed it for me. jase

i know my local (mt druitt, nsw) autobarn is able to supply (and perhaps install) NOS... am i right or wrong in hearing that while its not illegal to have the NOS system installed on the engine, its illegal to use it? the autobarn has from memory a honda engine on display with the kit installed.. also saw 2 dyno sheets, one of which was a from a 2zz celica. its been a couple months since i acually took a close look at it but im sure another local can confirm this?

its good that u know where u lost the keys.... i just don't know when and where did that happen :(. I think i won't sleep well tonite :( my keys were recovered the next morning. relieved much!

thats funny - today i too lost my car keys + house keyas at work. i think a student at my school has taken it and now im afraid to drive my car to work thinking the kid with my keys will try to unlock it...

personally i think theyve already had plenty of time to sort this crap out... at the very least ill be looking for a separate digital radio with RCA outputs so i can at least hook it up to the car stereo.

Now that Digital radio is now on air in australia as of last week... when should we expect to see 1 or 2 din car stereos that come with these as stock? its bad enough having a gps suction cupped to your windscreen, at the moment the only option ive seen is yet another little box suction cupped to the windscreen to go next to your gps! HURRY UP TECHNOGEEKS! MAKE ME A 2DIN DVD/MP3/USB/IPOD/DIGITAL RADIO/TV stereo for my car already! btw is this the same as XM radio in the US? might just source a deck from the US if i have to.
