true, if you have the speaker level inputs then you can use that in place of the RCAs... but i guess thats only if youve only installed a sub. using the speaker level inputs wont make sense in my car, which ive amp'd up my front splits and my sub. if i upgraded my head unit (which i plan on doing eventually), i wouldnt be using any of the stock speaker wires at all. all my audio would be coming through my amps which is connected through the RCAs. i guess its depends on what your doing. since encounta is upgrading both speakers and subs, im guessing he wants to amp the lot. in that case he could do either the level inputs (if his amps have em) or the RCAs (+RCA adapter) since hes sticking with the stock head unit. but yea as i mentioned earlier, if hes got all that installed already and then decides he wants a new headunit, then hed have to use the RCAs.

I'm not to sure either JJ... the rules specify it must be a drop kick, but i have no idea why the rule is that. probably just some history type thing :P so it IS in the rulebooks somewhere?! interesting stuff!

i believe i play nice!? most of the time i post so i can contribute something to the topic or ask questions relating to the topic. but it does irritate me when people judge others while having nothing else to contribute to the conversation.

hey gerald.. an rca adaptor is like $15 bucks from autobarn. ive had one in my corolla for a while now (on the stock head unit) and its connected to 2 amps and havent had a problem yet! (besides my cd player not working, but thats nothing to do with the RCA thing)... just splice the 2 front speaker cables and solder the RCA adaptor to that (behind the head unit). there are more expensive ones, but think bout it - your ears wont know the difference between a $15 rca adaptor and a 50-80+ buck adaptor.

na the "sport" thing sounds about right. TTR kinda implies something extra is under the bonnet, kinda like TRD on the corolla would (or SHOULD) imply a supercharger is somewhere in there.. TRD stickers shouldnt be used if youve only put on the gearknob.. lol

by looking at the pics and reading the posts i am 99% sure that this was the corolla i saw in the toyota edition of hot4s magazine! but in the magazine there was a massive lcd screen floating above the amps... looks like the mount is there for it... is it the one?! if so i wanna know how you got them down lights into the hatch door! i actually found the magazine in the bottom of 1 of my boxes in my garage... while cleaning it out coz the garage got flooded after the rain and never got round to cleaning it out until last week. the magazine got waterlogged and most of the pages were lost.. but i managed to save the article about the 1zz.. gonna scan and post the article when i get home :P are you the original owner? or did you buy the car with all that in there?

im still a bit confused bout the japanese names... didnt toyota make fielders (wagons) with sportivo engines? would that then be named fielder runx or fielder aerotourer??? ive seen pics of allex and runx hatches and they look the same (besides the emblem).. and since they made 2zz fielders, did they make a sedan with lift too?

ummm.. the audience is there for free. besides kennedy.. i cant think of any other host that was actually funny. kennedy didnt read the same crappy jokes that the other hosts had to read. jackie mcdonald needed somewhere to go after leaving heyhey... i watched when jo beth was host mostly coz she was hot which meant that i didnt care what she said at the time (dont hate me for saying that - i was like 11 or something when she was still the host?). there were a few other people in between but i cant remember their names... but they were all kinda on par with toni pearin though... not too funny.. nothing spectacular to look at. on foxtel you get to see all the US home video shows... one was hosted by dl hugley. pretty popular black comedian who had his own sitcom a few years back. even when he was hosting, he had to read off cue cards and the jokes were as bland as toni pearins. its just the same corny formula that has been proven popular. the think that keeps people watching is the new videos and the not so bad prizes. as for the voiceovers... i guess someone still finds them funny.. i guess it wouldnt be funniest home videos without it. on a positive note, they do occasionally let the original audio play instead of adding in the voiceovers if the audio was actually funny.

there was an artist in sydney (i think?) that got a government grant to make art... she basically made little detailed trinkets made of gold... little objects that would fit in the palm of your hand. instead of putting em in a gallery like regular art, she hid them throughout the city streets. i cant be bothered explaining that 1. i think that is a waste.

yea... learnt this in my teaching course... we overlook the spelling mistakes to read what it meant 2 say.
