  7. yeah i had the 1984 KE70 HIcam 1300cc. only 4 speed but imanaged to mod it. had sports exhuast, custom headers and high grade manifold machining and customn gasket as the original manifold linkage used to warp under heat sports coil and leads K&N fliter and mechanical secondarys on the 2 throtlte carbie it went fast compared to a stock one but thta is all long live corolla i later sold it for 1000$
  8. my seats only problem is that it won't turn into a sparco evo with sparco harness maybe soon with a little encouragment $$$ ;)
  9. yeah guys HSV sometimes make one offs with extremely tunes engines so i agree it is quite possible for the peeps to be making 360. yeah i don't think the lift wil be coming on at 4000rpm he engine would not shift enough and oil pressure would not be high enough. would be nice to rck and extra 10kw at the fly though :D B)
  10. with the TRD kit i thought it was expensive too then i thought about ti a little after calming down - you get a good big high flow pod with it so that is worth about 120$ and it is red and has a sticker worth about 5kw atw and is covered by warranty as confirmed by toyota aus as for the apexi pod you can get the adapter from places like HJCmotorsports. better off with the CAI unless you have a bonnet scoop as every 1 degree air temp you drop engine power goes up
  11. i change my gear box oil every 5000km - this was trusty advice given by the guys from honda on one of the bmi videos. doesn't cost much and keeps the gearbox feeling nice. it is neede4d to be changed heaps more frequently in close ratios and high revving engines
  12. exedy clutch and JUN fly wheel as execdy do most manufactuer/performance apps any way i have been told this is prob the best combo. other wise TRD and toms please correct me if i am wrong guys that have done it
  13. xoom had the same issue maybe pm him and compare notes
  14. the washers are perfectly legal to install. the lights are not so legal to operate apparently. blue is emergency services colour thus the disliked by law people any ways the bonnet was approx 1400$ to my door stop

  16. illegal or not illegal if you are not goin gto help him don't nearly 90% or aestheitc parts that are imported and installed on cars are not ADR approved BUT HE IS ASKING HOW TO FIT THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is the only question i was able to see lukeprentice i will drop into bunnings today and check if they have ssome of those elbows and if you realised why say it?........this is why this forum is not very helpful, people feel pushed away
  17. yeah thanks for that great input pecker as he was surely askin gfor your opinion any way man i have found that i had to swap to different washers due to my new bonnet i have had the same problem with my black after market one but they also do not have the elbow the only thing i thought of today as i have not been too concern with having the hooked up was if hardie pope the sprikler co had little rubber elbows?? haven't looked into it yet.
  18. just remember though the exige weighs about as much as my chow chow puppy would be reallllllllllll nice to get the vavles and springs done though- all the money spent on doing all that you could sort an elise. i currently want to layby the yellow and black exige at rick damelian's we're in discuss about a buy will you drive system its not going to well though :D :P
