    Camry Top Speed

Given this is a public forum we don't condone this sort of behaviour on the roads, sorry topic closed.
  2. Unfortunately you're looking for a very popular model of car of which there are literally thousands in Melbourne. But yes I agree it looks like a facelift Corolla zze122. And as there is no foglight, it would be an Ascent or Conquest model, again the most popular models. I wouldn't discount it having been an elderly person that's most likely just hit the wrong pedal. Hope it all gets sorted out for you.
  3. No never bothered. I remember Danzzt had done it to his Levin when he still had it.
  4. One thing I can't understand though. People bitch and moan about petrol prices, yet more and more people are buying bigger, heavier suv's. It's just friggin dumb IMO
  5. cool if all fails i might just cut the lines and replace them with some newones.. can you or anyone else tell me wat this sensor does Shouldn't cut them because you'll need them to complete the mod, just bring out the inner hulk :D
  6. I couldn't have said it myself, and seeing they are a forum sponsor and have a nice little section to themselves with all their details why don't you pick up the phone.
  7. But I think you're cute when you batt your eyelids :P Mrs Sportivo - Play nice - ta.

  11. Ok people I think he got the point now play nice
  12. That to me looks like they have compressed only the upper half instead of the whole spring, if the original spring was a progressive rate, it would mean the lower loops are softer than the upper loops. They have left no room for movement in the upper loops at all having completely closed the loops like that, so that effectively means that you are only using the lower loops which are softer, that is why the car has an odd floating feel because now the spring rate in actual use is lower than what you had when the springs first went in. That looks so dodgy, who did that? I can also see the wire you mentioned earlier. Have a look at this pic of my rear spring and you can see the difference. See how the loops aren't touching except for the top one.
  13. If you want it to be loud, just for the sake of it, you can simply have the rear muffler removed and replaced with a straight pipe - probably around $80 for press bent steel tubing. But as advised earlier, don't bother, and please refrain from such comments in future

    Grey imports

Not really they should be the same car so parts should all be the same, where the difference may be is if the import version has or hasn't got features the locally sold version did, and also greys tend to have a lower re-sale value, but strictly on general parts and service it should all be the same, I don't believe the Prius differs all that much from market to market.
  16. Yes EXE do a lot of track days, check our Meets section because usually members Flameboy, Jally or BigDaddy will advise when the next trackday is on.
  17. How were your springs compressed - do you mean re-set? Do you find it's the front and rear that crashes on bumps or just the rear which has the Compressed springs?

    Anduin's Ride

Look who just caught the bug! :D It looks great! Well worth the wait I say!
  19. Speak to John or Corey at Protek Tyres in Oakleigh, they will look after you on price and do a good job, a number of Melbourne members have had work done there. (03) 9569 0834
