  1. There's a few wreckers which specialise in only 4x4's. You should be able to find a 80 or 100 series set at one of them, see if they fit, if not re-sell.
  2. Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load!
  3. Ditto, new Camry and Aurion have some cool colours! But if you would respray, really depends on you. If you're a clean freak, dark blues or black or graphite, if you skip the odd wash or two, grey, silver, bla bla bla.
  4. Spotted a black dumped Sportivo or similar with Sportivo grille on Coleman pde Glen Waverley today about 7.30
  5. Sounds like it's worse than what people with a CAI experience, it sounds like it just won't move at all, or there's a very big delay in response on take off. I would ask Toyota to run a diagnostic and also give particular attention to the MAF seeing the airbox was damaged in the accident. And as silly as it sounds, may also be the incorrect grade of engine oil in the motor.
  6. I would pm member 'Just' He's in Italy so if anyone knows of the brand it would be him
  7. The lighter colour :D
  8. Nice Danz, will miss the Hamster but this is better :D
  9. Holy cr@p! Tayles!!!!! How did you find that??? It must have been magic!!!!!
  10. That's quite good. I like it better than the Miata forums one.
  11. I love to drive manual, but it is a pain in stop start traffic. I'm not a fan of the traditional automatics, they rob power, fuel consumption and have no engine braking. But I love DSG style transmissions such as that which VW use and also now the new EVO X and new GTR, since driving a Golf GTi with DSG, I'm sold and think it's the way forward. Perfect shifts everytime, even better downshifts with pre-programmed throttle blip and when you're tired and cant be fogged, they have an automatic mode.
  12. I would ask the dealer if there would be a fix for this. It's crazy for it not to engage 6th until over 110. It means it would be useless here. They should be able to rectify them via a change to the settings
  13. Only for the rice factor but not for visibility, they have absolutely no penetration at all.
  14. So are the new front panels on? Is the transformation complete? :D
  15. So, if you buy a second hand RunX from South Africa and bring it in across the boarder you have to pay so much?? So wouldn't a halfcut or new engine/gearbox/ecu end up costing as much because you still have to bring it across the boarder?
  16. I think that if the parts get installed by Toyota then it would not void your warranty, however I would advise that you ask your Toyota dealer before hand. I also think that it depends on the delear. For example, I think that Toyota has 3 or so TRD delears in Australia (correct me if im wrong) and maybe if you were to approach them they would be less hesitant on the topic. (make sure you ask the right person) Thanks for the tip, ill ask em next time I'm in for a service. not a pressing matter for me at the moment. Does anyone have opinions on the TRD Muffler? or even TRD vs. K&N for panel air filters??? Between drop in filters there would be SFA difference. So pick whichever is to your liking or budget. I can't comment on the muffler.
  17. I've noticed this is up on some other forums. How many people are you expecting?
  18. It's not that difficult at all. It just takes about 4 hours and alot of patience. If you do take the time to do it right, you will end up with a nice smooth and hard finish that wont flake off and also makes it easier to clean. Also make sure you use VHT Brake and Drum paint.
  19. I noticed this most prominently when I went overseas and drove in Italy. They drive like maniacs in the citys, but on the Highways, if you're going faster, everyone moves over without hesitation or fuss with a quick flash of the high beams. Do that here..... not a chance, you just get sign language.
  20. You need to push all those clips through after you've undone the three screws.
  21. Cool Now what's in the secret Garlic Sauce fuel you're using? :D
  22. Yes the stock one in the torsion beam with a second one outside. In the case of the new Corolla not having a provision within the the torsion beam for a sway bar, one can be mounted the same way the White one is. When Whiteline made swaybars for the Astra, this is how it was mounted.
  23. Damn you younger guys have to pay alot!
