  1. Have a look underneath your car and think about that one
  2. Love that shot on top of the water.
  3. Just remove the snorkle, there is a difference over stock and it costs you nada BTW, DON'T Butcher your stock airbox (Drill or Cutout holes) unless you have a spare. Toyota only sells the Airbox parts as a complete assembly for $400!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Let this be a lesson to all, this is what happens when you drop a Kebab in your CAI. Xoom has now learnt his lesson after alot of $$$ :P :D
  8. Can I ask where you're getting these from?
  9. Much better, I really hated your old rims - Sorry Azza.
  10. You went to that? My bro Des said it was pretty huge? i was getting sloshed One too many Commodores though I didn't hang around for the cruise... <_<
  11. Black stock Levin at ignition meet Sat night at Autobarn shoppo.
  12. I have a before and after dyno of removing the snorkle. The car gained a massive 1.5kw ATW from the mod. But the AFR was smoother AND the engine came on power earlier (ie the graph moved to the left), showing the car has a bit more bottem end from simply removing the snorkle and by-passing the resonator. In this car, the resonator is solely to reduce intake noise.
  13. Haven't you felt that in your steering :o That's so wrong.
  14. I think you need to use the headlight/grille/front bumper area rather than the bonnet for the calculations.
  15. Yep the old Shaggin Wagon. Spotted Spec_Black on Latrobe St turning right into Spencer St this afternoon.
  16. Also VVTLiR and Specialised32 did it, they have it in the inside/out section
  17. Last year I went to europe for six weeks and my car still started - Just. But I do have a trickle charger for my Jet Ski and it works fine. Basically you have a connection that stays permanently on the terminals and then when in the garage you connect it to the outlet/transformer that plugs into a socket (Kind of like a phone charger but a bit bigger). You can pick these up from most car parts places such as Auto1, Supercheap, Autobarn etc. But simply unplugging your negative terminal will do the same thing and save on your power bill :D
  18. Notice how some models in those pics have projector beams and some don't, most likely this means we'll be getting the coventional head lights here.
  19. So according to this, performance will be identical to the pre-emissions 1zz-fe's. No improvement in performance only improved efficiency? You would think improved performance and efficiency would go hand in hand Actually, improved performance generally means lower efficiency. It is improved performance by about 10kw on the electronic throttle body engines. No, If an engine is made to run more efficient, it... a) Uses less fuel and lowers emissions. B) As a result of running more efficiently - it produces more power per litre. But true I was looking at it compared to mine but not the new ones.
  20. In VIC this is true (Look at the VIC roads stuff I posted in the general section not long ago - it also says it's legal to have fog lights on all the time :o )
