I would suggest you to get 8gig stick of ram, you cant have enough ram given Vista is quiet ram intensive (as I found out...) as for video card reference cooler is pretty loud, i think other brand might have a non reference cooler (mine 4850 came with a Zalman fan, much cooler and quieter...) (i have to read up on the memory bits coz i stop reading the latest and greatest from both Intel & AMD for a good few months already lol...) if you gonna crossfire/sli path, i would suggest you get a better case to fit in the video card and at least a decent 600 watt PSU... 2 x 4870 will give you alot of BANG for the bucks atm, performance wise it beats nVidia in some games...

i better go to my nearest dealer too to have it check... did DJKOR said the leak usually occurs at about 60k km pt? My Aurion is about 44k km atm...

depending where and how visible is the paint damage they might be able to blend it back in... ofocz it depends on the color of you car too with white & black are the easiest to blend back and other colors less so... i would suggest get those dent doctors to come in for a visit and see if they can do the job less than the excess of your claim + plus future increase of ur premiums... and yeah i dont like staying in those suburbs with so many kids hanging out causing troubles, the only thing you can do to them is either take the matter into your own hands or get some connections going and beat the be-jesus out of them... (if they are kids lol... :P) in brisbane while not as bad, there was a case where 2 youths (underage ofcoz) decided its fun throw stones from the sidewalk @ Pinelands Shopping centres over at Sunnybank a few years ago... and thank god karma caught up with them and they were caught but ofcoz u all know they only get a little more than a slap on the hand and off they go...

Tungsten is more like Silver with a tinge of blue/grey... and Sakana silver is more oxidised metal with a clear coat on it lol... :P i like the blacken headlight set up, I wanna do that to my Yaris but it will look silly coz it will be blue (hatch color) and partiall blacken headlights...? (I dont wanna reduce the light output... :))

yeah it depends where you get ur parts from... i usually source it from 2 - 3 shops, seeing you in Perth i dnt even know if they have good PC shops there thats not ripping you off lol...

OEM fogs bulbs are about 3400k... he could get 5000k bulbs but there will be barely any throw and next to useless... HID isnt recommended at all unless you want the cops to look at you with a smile on their face...

i would have thought your accountant friend already crunch the numbers with the conclusion that you are targeting a niche market that makes your business not viable in the short term where its critical (in the 1st 24 months...) to get the cashflow running to pay for all the basic cost of the business before u make a cent of profit... 1 - you cant be brand specific, at least not straight away so you have to take in all manufacturers at least on general maintenance to keep your head above water and built up your customer base beyond this forum... 2 - even though there are people are willing to splash the cash, they are far and in between... (if they want fart cannons they go to a fart cannon specialist, springs they DIY, rotors etc too...) 3 - they probably sourced most of their aftermarket parts o/s or interstate where its cheaper thus you losing another source of revenue and only doing the installation work... 4 - how are you gonna mark up the price when your customer probably know the rough cost price of the imported hardware...? 5 - your workshop is gonna cost heaps to begin to you need a very good business plan to get the banks to lend you money... 6 - do you have any plans when things do go wrong such as installation didnt go as planned etc...? its 4am so i might be typing jibberish there... :P oh i know a guy... (ex highschool mate) who opened or co-own PSI performance imports, if you know who they are you probably should check them out and see if they are doing well... (last time i read the business is up for sale...)
