Cheers guys ty :) got a set of the CCF's to pick up today in replacement of that dodgy grill i got from carmate. These are quoted as BMW ones but i have a hunch thy'r perfect for Aurions :)

Marky Mark yes pls start a thread :) Is your traction problem from standing starts? it may be as simple as weight transfer. I would imagine those units are pretty stiff suspension wise.

TS-01 for sure, is that the kit your getting too? sorry if i missed it previously very very sexy lookin, Grill looks kinda small when it's colour coded outer with black innner. All black would make the grill look bigger. The TS-01 is a compromise between the 2 looks. -
Thread Resurrection :) bit of a pun comming! but hears my favourite mod atm and soz it's not car realated . Well it is in theme and spirit it's to be a "hot rodded" themed version of an old purple val i used to own :) A computer mod! I used to do this many years ago. Made some money off it and got some magazine covers and articles etc and Theres a great online community that supports it. I kinda just took everthing i learn't from modding cars over all the years and applied it to computer cases. I think my first real case mod was just a simple engine bay tidy mod. Then some simple flex wire covering etc etc. It was kinda of an outlet while i wasn't working on cars. Anyways this was a half finished project i was modding and have decided to have another shot at finishing it :) BTW The case is an old Hewlett Packard case from the 90's It's called HP Resurection.... much like this thread :) She will be a high end Watercooled working flamed theme PC with duel front and side mounted LCD screens and massive twin turbine style front intakes. After all that i suppose i could throw in the recent Angel Eyes mod on the car :P If anyones interested i'll keep this thread updated or can start a fresh one.

5D MkII nice nice cam 21MP ! (incredible image detail in low light) wish i had a spare 3.5k+ cash for lenses for one of those babys. I'm near Bexley (nrth) shes lookin a bit shabby from a 8k trip to top QLD and back recently.... stone chips bent tailpipe and bent lip on one of the rims :( headlight covers are covered in marks... Roads to QLD after the floods are a joke. Would be keen to catch up anytime and get a close up look at your amazing JZX100 last time i seen it i'm sure i was trying to chase you down KG's rd for a look :)

Give the CCFL's a go dutchie, i still think they may have better brightness in direct sunlight if you want to run them in the day. I'm noticing that i don't notice mine in DS but at night they look more refined than both the beemer standard and the CCFL's aftermarkets. WOOT! i can't say how over the moon i am with the final look! The blackened head lights is perfect on white it blends perfect with the lower bar lights. Mazda are really onto this and i'd love to sort somthing out for the rear. The round Sportivo 2008 model LEDS but with the later model clear glass!Blackend with the just the LED's doing thyr thing...... The lower mesh was carries the trd sport grill theme nicely. Upper 60K HID's and Lower 45K HIDS look cool too. And finally Angel Eyes! what can i say, they turned out better then i thought they would. they Fit the contour of the lights perfect and the 3/4 effect always looks the Meanest!Big shout out to Davo for gettin the ball rollin with the grill! cheers mate and DJKOR cheers mate your right, LED's are the way to go over CCF's I got a lotta pics Side one and blackend lights.

It's hard to explain, best to show you :) In hind site maybe cuts and sanding might have produced a better light. Yep the LED's are 5mm Ultra bights. I wanted to only use 6.5mm tubes but the sockets walls for the LEDS became too thin and cracked up. So ended up using thicker 8mm tube. I still think the 6.5mm tubing looked better, more refined. Good old Dremel brand ftw :D Jobs almost done :) finished pics soon.

Heya DemonRolla, The clear tubing is from Plastix bout 8bux a 3m lenght. LED's are Ultra Whites cost about 6-7bux each and the rest is wire aand heatshrink, oh and dont forget your resistors for the LED's. I'll get a full list and prolly a better how to when it's all done , working and looking proper. Wire diagram if this helps. Red and green out is to power source, i think ima ganna hook these up to my lower driving lights or parkers i think this will work best. If to parkers i will prolly DC origs. last shots for tonight assembled.

Hard to explain, but it kinda just acts like a diffuser... makes the light more even smooth looking but less intense and bright off the front of the ring.
