Jeesus this car us looking wicked! Rims look amazing can't wait to get my new ones. The matt eyelids grills and light surrounds all work very nice on the blue.

KHUMO 245/40 R19's 98+% rubber can still see ECST Writing on rubber. + Wheelnuts/locknuts + hub shims supplied aswell Purchased only recently. The lil red one was shunted under by the semi. Some clown up infront jacks his brakes on so he won't run over a ACI Pinkbat that had blown off a truck passing the other way :( we all jack ours on in turn... i was behind the truck that was behind the one you see in the piccy. The chick driver was pretty banged and shookup but she walked away thank god.

Haha sorry mate, but i have been getting quotes for turbo build.. Any chance you could keep us updated on who and what costs your getting for turbo fits? At first i was thinking of just upgrading to a TRD but if this could be done cheeper i'd be keen also. Cheers.

It might! specially some spare parts.... much like trying buy bannanas atm..... or even get this! went to bunning last week to buy a 1xltr can of white paint and was told told none in stock due to the floods in qld, appar it's not production but the extreme drain on supply as everyone repaints their houses. So as the thousands and thousands of cars need new parts i'm sure we will see a drain of supply of genuine parts downunder and of course a possible cost hike :(

Pedders seem to do an ok job, and i think you can get the adjustble ones as well which give you some fine adjustment to get your ride hights just right.

Awsome motor swap spillige, musta ben a real buzz to drive around :) When i did a turbo mod to my escort yonks ago the main req's for the engineer was simply brakes and exhaust noise, exhuast was a easy pass thx to the turbo:P and i simply told him i'd added RS2000 upgraded units.(stockers painted red :P ) I'd imagine since you done the brakes i'ts just the exhaust noise to get your cert, GL with it, Gem's are driving icons now and with RE swap it's even more special.

Quick update :) Been using the pad and app along side a Garmin and Navman in the new 2ton work truck for a few weeks now and am finding the ipad great! It's a bit on the quiet side volume wise compared to the other units but in a new model izuzu truck it's not so bad. The larger screen and easy touch responsive screen make the pad a joy to use. The software is as good as the garmin navman and ***** loads better then the tomtom (personal opinion) Now that the new ipad is otw this may be an even more attractive alternative to the smaller gps units.

Cheers Adamsy, this is what i'm trying to work out exactly and your prolly right with the differences, was kinda hoping it might just be the old holden HX-HZ thing. It's actually good to know that Toyota has purpose built each car. To me the new Cam stivo is still the sexiest lookin affordable 4 door on the road atm :D

I was blown away to see that the magnets on the rear speakers are the size of 5cent peices :P but they seem to work ok! yeah you’re not wrong they do work quite ok for factory sound particularly when you see the size of the magnets and the flimsy quality materials used. But then Aurion does have what’s known as "psychoacoustics" which simply gives you the illusion of a much tighter cleaner sound with increased low end response but it's really not there at all lol just tricks the brain, but yes does work and when you put some good quality speakers in there the sound it great and if you go to the next step an put ones from the top brands like Focal, Rockford, Vibe, Boston etc in the sound is awesome but in grown up nicely balanced way not in your p plate doof doof way lol I like the sound of having Focals in my car! my dream home speakers are Focal Grande Utopia's , The upgrade works fine streight off the orig head unit ?

We kinda have the best of both worlds here. Could you imagine a streight shipping swap of parts :P But the thought of owning a camry with a V6 donk does seem cool.

I would really like to see if it works.. I'm actually gettting a little obsessed over the whole idea of doing a complete front end swap from the cam to the aurion. Cheers

I Really like the look of the new Camry sportivo front ends! I recon it's one of the best car front styles gettin around atm. Does anyone know enuf to know if the sub frames are the same on the cam and aurions? I'm thinking it would be, and that clips and brackets and maybe some minor bracing would be the diff. If thats the case and i was lucky enuf to find a front end at a wreckers it's something i would seriously think of trying.
