  1. Lol U'll have to give me all the specs so I can give my performance shop mate at the coast a shopping list. Goodbye tax return. Lol. When I come up for the National meet I'll show you what a 2 1/4" cat-back (extractors and 2" pre-cat) with hotdog and Lukey Ultraflow sounds like on a 7AFE :P
  2. effing mint mate... looks fantastic... if u ever decide to sell it at a much later stage i call dibs :P
  3. appreciated... still haven't done the exhaust yet... i think i'm gonna go a 2" cat back system in the same configuration as you suggested with a redback muffler. The exhaust shop I frequent has done several of them before on AE101 - AE112's and says its the best result they get... 2 1/4" could run the risk of losing some compression they said... i'm happy with a 2" anyway... i had an epic cannon on my civic but i know i won't be that lucky twice... lol it wasn't farty either...
  4. lol... should get ur son to bring the AE101R down... us Corolla boys will give him a few bad (good) and P Plate friendly mod ideas lol...
  5. seriously, that kinda money is crap. For what he wants to charge for a new engine from toyota and installing it u could seriously by another camry the same as what u have... not sure what gearbox ur running, as in if the 6cyl and 4cyl engines ran the same box in the camry, however u can get a 1MZ engine cheap, and if u do need a gearbox to suit they are cheap too... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Toyota-camry-V6-engine-3-litre-1MZ-FE-motor-wrecking-/320691238100?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4aaaaff4d4 http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Camry-MCV36R-3-0L-1MZ-FE-V6-Auto-Transmission-/170627602288?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27ba329770 if he charges u say $1500 - $1800 to install these two parts, ur still only coming up to $3000 for a 2nd hand motor and box and upgrading to a V6... ;)
  6. bling / sex spec can be hot, but u don't need a jumbo jet wing on the back because the aim of bling / sex spec is to be slow and stylish... like u gonna bust caps out yo window foo'! lol...
  7. i took my heatshield for my pod off this morning because its a heap of ***** and keeps making the ram arm fall off the suspended bracket... sounds louder now and sucks in a fair bit more air... over all i am happy... and i transferred the registration for Herpes (The Subaru Sherpa Kei Car) into my name... and totally lied about how many km's it had done since the RWC was done... lol - and found out it only costs $350 a year to register...
  8. depends how crap ur family is i guess... not me personally but i know some ppl who would've been better off caring about their car more than their family...
  9. awwwwwww hell nah... on the rear so u can wheel stand that bitch at 250km/h + lol... and then flip like a mofo... that bit is gay tho...
  10. lol... i stopped offering input because Daryl had a very valid point... "lets get the annual meet out of the way first..." i agree... we are having interstate guests... we can't screw this up... i will throw my dice down on the table once the annual meet is over and see what we can all come up with... the last weekend meet / cruise was great... although i got sunburnt to hell... wow that was 6 months ago now :(
  11. hmmmm... interesting thought... I agree with body kits if they actually offer some kind of aerodynamic improvement to the vehicle... i.e. a proper front splitter that has a skid / bash pan that extends to at least halfway underneath the engine bay to offer some kind of drag... or a wide body kit with vents that forces the air through the guards to create a smaller air vortex at the rear of the vehicle and accordingly less wind resistance... but when ppl just put oversized wheels on with a body kit to make it look lower than it is and it serves no purpose, that's a bit whacked in my opinion... My Rolla is rockin 17's and is as slammed as it can get without hacking away and custom fabricating suspension struts and tucking the under carriage of the vehicle, or adding a body kit (and i have trouble with speed bumps now so to hell with that) and it doesn't attract heat and it serves its purpose... good stance and doesn't look ridiculous... and at the end of the day it has a 7A-FE in it... i won't be travelling fast enough to require any aerodynamic improvements... remember, a rear spoiler, even a crap one, does not start to have any effect until ur travelling at least 230km/h (or at least thats what i've been told by someone who worked for a legit racing team)...
  12. just saying u might run into some hostility with the amount of ego ur currently portraying... like i said, no offence - just giving a friendly reminder so u don't wonder why people may not be warming to you as quickly as you may have hoped... i like the concept picture of ur car u put up too... i'm assuming thats what u want it to look like right? lol i suck at photoshop...
  13. no offence but u might wanna get outta the breeze before all of those tickets you got on urself blow away ;)
  14. the auto ones are pretty quick... was looking at buying one a while ago and they have gear shift buttons (similar to paddles but actual buttons) on the steering wheel and can change faster than you can by hand... i'd definately have an auto over a manual in these - hold boost longer, faster gear changes than humanly possible, and practical... and great if ur stuck in traffic and feeling lazy too...
  15. people who unpack the shopping from the shopping trolley in the wrong order.. u take out the heavy stuff first, then tinned stuff, then the frozen stuff, then the packets of stuff, with fruit and veg followed by bread last... oh, and people that don't maximize the full use of the checkout conveyor... as in they leave open gaps and spaces or just put things wherever... you people $H!7 me and need to play tetris some more and stack that crap mofo!
  16. drove it to work and home and I am disappoint at the air intake... makes a nice note and haven't lost any torque, but with the clamp mount heat shield and the bracket, it keeps slipping off and i'm too lazy to keep fixing... want to try the K&N Panel Filter with the swiss cheese intake box and cutting the resonator open. Lawrence - i got holidays coming up, come over and help me take my front bumper off and talk me thru it... :P
  17. wow... two asian ppl at sunnybank, who woulda thunk it... lmao... sorry guys :P Where does ya dad work Poony? TOCAU QLD / Bris meet and greet for newbies to come along and not feel alienated plus discount from Poony Snr... :P
  18. all good, working here now too... I need new headlights for the rolla... might look at getting an aftermarket set and then try the mod on the old ones and if it works alright I'll just put the old surrounds into the new lenses and have a back up pair lol...
  19. none of the effing pics work... *sad face mcgee* can we have some new pic links coz I wanna try this on another model of car and wanna see how adaptable it is / could be... and save myself about $400...
  20. he's like a super ninja kung fu... lol... thats pretty cool... wouldn't wanna get in a fight with him... he looks like he could really sling a yo-ho diablo...
  21. my supervisor at work had the same thing happen to him when he tried to sell a car on www.carsales.com.au - except they had an actual dodgey bank account, not pay pal. This is why I don't trust Pay Pal and prefer direct deposits or cash... Not because there's anything wrong with pay pal, but because there's ppl who try and scheme it because its made out to be so safe... cash is safe...
  22. Eh? Your's is an auto??? No, I was saying that an auto for lazy driving could be interesting if there was some way of making a sequential auto modification i.e. paddle shift on the steering wheel for ****s and gigs...
