  1. This is very similar to using a "sealent" type product (google nanolex for more info). I would be interested to see some actual results on an actual car that i can actually touch / feel / smell :P I not a fan of "one stop shop" type of products (wash and wax). This might work well if you get a brand new car and gave it a good top to bottom going over, otherwise I just wouldn't bother. My concern with this is you may still need to clay every 3-6 months to remove the the roughness in the paint. My understanding of Claying is that it removes all the narsties that stick to paint. Would this in turn damage the sealent product?!?!?!?!??! Minor rant moment: Stop acting like a tighty and get a good quality wax product (yes it's dodo juice for me baby!) <<<< This comment is not directed at the OP, just a general comment for all.
  2. Thanks once again to everyone that showed, had a great time.....cept for a certian "NUTTY" man which will never mention again. Some useless stats TOTAL DRIVE TIME (SYD>BRIS and BRIS>SYD) 24hrs 34mins FUEL BURNT: ~132L used LITRES PER 100: ~6.25 Engery Drinks Consumed: 12

  8. ok, so bets are now on if I can get there.....gotta love rain. I'm leaving work at 6PM. estimated travel time ~14hrs.....so drew bacon eggs, sangs, hash, toms, mush, toast be ready at ~9amish :P
  9. MC has the same unit which we installed. Easy to install, plug and play install. The EQ is basic, but remember, tune your amp, not the deck! ~ this theory applies across the board, regardless of quality / cost / features of your head deck. You have to remember, you want the amp to get a fairly neutral sound. Reason: if you EQ the sound coming out of the deck and there is a hiss / hum / odd noise, you'll amplify it. Most good amps have some form of bass / treble control, so i would stick with that. Also, your amp and head deck should be set for the same crossover frequency. Of course, this is all useless if your going to use a DSP (Digital Signal Processor), but personally, these are not worth it.....unless you want comp grade sound. /end my 2 cents
  10. hogs indrooooooooopilly was pretty good it has never failed the 2 times i've been there
  11. @OOOOOOOOOOOOODE THat was a plan, however I was told by some of the brisvegas crew that there is a better place, mick mentioned it and I think I went there before......cant remember the name!?!!?!?!?

  15. Hamster, I'm a little confussed. You have a Foam Lance and you put wash and wax in it? What sort of Lance are you using? How much product (rough guess) do you think you sprayed on the car? I ask because the autobrite snow foam and lance combo use about 30-60mm of product. I would hate to see people waste product oz "it's cheap"....that is all.
  16. I know its a bit early (sorry ladies......i'm just like that) BUT LOCK UP YOUR WIFES! I'll see yo'all on the 26th :)

  18. Back Agian :) DODO JUICE SUPERNATURAL HYBRID SEALENT / WAX Like all dodo juice stuff, this product makes your hard efforts clay / polishing all worth while. A little bit harder to apply and not offering the same depth of colour as the "Soft Waxes", this product is designed to seal the paint work, while still providing a great shine. It should only be applied by hand with a foam applicator or supernatural finger mitt (as shown). Allow the product to bond to paint but don't let it "cake up", otherwise your working too hard for no extra gain! The longevitity of this product is still unknown to me, but i'm sure it will do a great job.
  19. I know the one the one your talking about. Its a great little addition for GERNI, but as you mentioned.....it does use quite a bit. I think www.carecareproducts.com.au are having a sale on the foam lances atm and the snow foam (now called MagiFoam) dosn't cost that much. I would only use this as a pre-wash (loosen and remove heavy soiling), not as a replacement for 2 bucket method of washing. Hope this helps

  21. Depnds on the Lamce. The autobrite lance lets you regulate the amount of SnowFoam coming out. The CarCareProducts.com.au guys reckon you should use about 40-80mm per wash / application. Hope this helps ;)
