however in the just recent Bathurst PRoduction car races,the celica racing team, explained how they used a motek management system to advance the timing i think....and thats one of the best success stories ive heard so far... But they put 10s of 1000s of dollars into their 7th gens for race mods so im sure it wasnt cheap..

There is not real gains from advancing lift in the 2ZZ, this has been discussed at length in many celica forums. Unlike the VTEC where aftermarket controlls are plenty, There have been many unsuccessful attempt at advancing lift for any performance gains.. I believe i read somewhere TRD japan has come up with a controller but refused to sell it to TRD America and so it has stayed in Japan an not really avaliable to the general public...

basically im with stoopid head :D an upgrade will mean the alarm will run off ur factory computer which already controls central lockin etc from ur factory remotes....so that not only do the remoted lock and unlock ur doors, they arm the alarm system which will add immobilizer/siren/shock sensors, whilts all from ur stivo remotes.. if u buy a new alarm and NOT an upgrade they will usually have their own remotes supplied with it. You can put these types of alarms on but its generally a pain in the ***** having two stivo remotes + two new remotes that come with the alarm.. The boomerang one im sure comes with its own remotes, sure remotes start is funky but its borderline **** factor at time ...but if u do decide to go for it u will have a boomerang remote to carry around too, basically because there are no spare buttons on ur stivo remote... Personally I would just go for an upgrade on ur stivo remotes, but that is just me - its neater and less hassle.

i thought our engines were tuned down so we dont need 100ron. 98 ron (BP ultimate) should be more than enough as its meant to run on normal premium which is 95ron anyways..

xtiger u prolly already know this but make sure u get an upgrade and not a whole new alarm! (unless of course im wrong in assuming the stivo comes with keyless entry...or im wrong and he likes having two remotes on his key chain!)

sound deadening material is avaliable from a few places, i know strathfield car radios keep it handy for sub setups and trunk noise etc....so you could check ur nearest store.. or even a hardware shop should have similar materials. If you still dont have any luck pm me mate its a bit costly though, i havent got the price off hand but i know it goes by the metre from memory hope this helps and whats with that "aural magic" of the engine comment, ***** someone needs to put the KY away when driving his rolla hahahhaha

well in anycase there is money to be spent. I was considering getting a CF bonnet for the 7th gen celica with the raised scoop, approx 1300 dollars. THe TRD exhaust is approx $1500 Im gonna get the air filter asap prolly before we arrange anything possibly eyelids for the celica..but yeah, once we all meet up its hell easy to work out. plus toy cruise

I think xtiger is gonna wait till 1000/2000 before opening her up, but once he does he will use lift and such yeah ??? which is on for 6-7.5Krpm anyways, what hes sayin is he wont redline the biatch till after atleast 10000kms, i presuming here u mean u wont hit revlimited till then yeah? coz if ur not using lift till 10000kms, return ur damn stivo. and blackrolla, damn first i heard of a dealer doing that, or atleast that bein recommended

I think we should have a meet maybe and work out who needs what at a cruise, and then put a bulk order to carmate and demand a discount otherwise tell them we'll take our business elswhere, form the orders here its almost a grand to be spent, let alone the others that might want gear and other rollas...
