since changing the gearbox oil and putting nulon g70 additive, ive noticed that sometimes when the car is cold it slots into 3rd like a breeze, it is true that it has a mind of its own!, is the celica gearbox any better or is it the same gearbox?

everything you just said is exactly the same as me, apart from pulling it apart and the LSD and all haha with the clutch pedal mine used to squeak, so i just used a bit of WD40, it fixed it straight away but im also getting the squeak coming from in the engine bay? what part is squeaking anybody? also is changing the selector cables a big job?

how much did it cost for a rebuild? and how much was a 2nd engine?

my wheel used to shake over 100kmh and i to thought it was my rotors or wheel balance, did an alignment and balance and it fixed it dramatically, maybe do what prozak said and check your steering rack, when the car is jacked up, can you wobble the wheel?? maybe there are worn out joints in the suspension?

You've gone through 2 boxes!?? Woah haha I'm guessing you drive hard? Did you rebut your boxes or replace them?

It could be your wheel aligmement or your rotors or buckled? Does the shaking increase as you brake? My wheel used to shake pretty bad, then I had a wheel alignment done by bilstein and it was perfect :D

No no they weren't shavings, it looked like when you mix black with silver to get metallic black??? It wasnt very silvery but I was just curious when I saw it in the catch pan. I've only ever grinded when I get lazy or trying to shift in lift, apart from that I'm ok :)

It was very runny and it was very black with a hint of silver??? Not too sure what that was, but I've changed it and shifting is better :) and yes it's sitting on 117 at the moment, so Im also guessing its never been changed

Yep had that opened first then the plug and let it all drain out, then filled it with 2.3 litres???

Just finished changing the gearbox oil with the nulon g70 additive and the shifting does feel a little smoother, but when I drained the old oil, only 1 litre came out????? That's not right???

ok ive gone onto the xtreme website and found the zze corolla but it says its for the 1zzfe but it also says zze123 which is our sportivos???? what is the correct part number?

are they slicks or semi slicks? im thinking about going into a track day soon so i will probably need them shipped. pm me your price and what not :)

as the title states im looking for some semi slick tyres such as proxes r888 or potenza re11 and other various brands, let me know what you have, they can be new or used, im probably only going to use them once so i just want some quick used ones that have some meat left in them. my rim size is 16" soo sizes should be something like 205/45/r16 or something close to that. cheers guys let me know :D
