  1. yes he did and he's even already taken it to Wakefield Park :D
  2. you will wear out your front tyres faster, but that's just because you can corner better :P
  3. good to hear guys... Rob, give Stitty a call and let him know you want to help. From what I know he's been out on the streets all night tonight looking, but if the car's in a garage, it doesn't really help.
  4. I can also highly recommend to you guys, if the car is not recovered by tommorrow night, invite Stitty along... even if it is invite Stitty along. He's a good guy and there will more then likely be several beers in it if you help him out with recovering his car.
  5. I have 10 front and 12 rear on mine Jase, feels comfortable :) I had a few rattles but tightened everything up and now it's all sweet and quiet
  6. or you can all go out tonight and track down Stitty's car... http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...?showtopic=7073 it's been spotted, so it's still alive and well :) If you guys can organise a small cruise to do what you can it would be awesome... several car clubs are already out but more eyes the better :)
  7. Update on the Toymods site......... If any of the Canberra guys are reading this and think they can help out... try and get a group together to hunt this car down :)
  8. Tom made 90.4 and I made 115.4... not real happy, but didn't give my car the best preparation (ECU reset the day before and highway driving only since...) Oh well, next time... Dave's car missed the turbo 1.8-2.8 category by 1-2 kw too, was a super stong effort I was expect mid 220s from him, so was a huge surprise, not bad from the old 1G-GTE. The car that beat him was a 3S-GTE rear mounted into an AW11 MR2 (I guess that should be SW-11 then :P ) Still waiting for the complete results to be posted though...
  9. next time I do it I'll do a step by step photo guide but here's the orderyou do things before you start, lay seats forward!!! 1) take out spare wheel cover 2) tool trays (10mm socket is your friend) 3) plastic boot door sill (10mm socket again) 4) take out child restraint hook (12mm socket) 5) lift the spring board by lifting from the plastic support underneath it (do left side then right side, directly below the black press tacks so you don't break the board) it should just pop out. 6) take off the side bolsters of the rear seats (10mm socket at the base and should just lift out) 7) take out the black bolt holding the trim by the seat belt return (10mm socket or screwdriver) 8) starting from the boot forward, use a screwdriver to pry the side trimming off the wall (DO NOT PULL THE TIMMING OUT AS IT WILL BREAK) if you do it right the clips should just pop out and you can lift the trimming off with no effort at all. 9) unclip the light in the left hand trimming... 10) put everything back in the reverse order!!! :D
  10. it's actually sitting slightly higher then before :o :o :o B) but handling is awesome, just ironing out the rattles... the one from the back are sorted, but now I have some from the front right...
  11. you need to take the rear trim out to adjust the rears but I've got that down to a 15 minute job these days :) that's to take out, adjust, re-fit ;)
  12. :P spotted you too mate was testing the new suspension out :D
  13. I assume you mean 7M-GTE and yes that's the car... many man hours have been spent on this car and all of Toymods is gutted by this... :( :( :( :( :( whoever did this should rot!!!
  14. I had a highway run with an XR6T near Dubbo when overtaking another car, me following him through, and lets just say I had no hope of catching him. He had a slight head start, but he was disappearing into the distance fast... it sounded like is had, had at least exhaust work done...
  15. :o :o :o :o :o :o :o will it rev to 8200 rpm ;)
  16. that's what it says... meet at 11am depart at 11:30
  17. The time of the theft has been narrowed to between 3-5am this morning when security were not present in the underground carpark it was located in. If anyone hears or sees ANYTHING (rumours or otherwise) please bring it to Luke's attention. He is an great, easy going guy and I hate to see this happen to him. :(

  19. this is an AWESOME shot... Team White REPRESENTS!!!
  20. I'll do my best to be out there Bec. Good to see Dan's car getting some good exposure. :)
  21. Can I just point out that in light of recent issues with SRC, having a cruise coinciding to theirs probably isn't the best idea. I you guys want to cruise this weekend why not join their cruise. They are not a bad group of people. :) EDIT: more over to this, I'll also be trying my best to join the SRC cruise...
  22. Come on Zee you know you want to see how my coilovers improve the handling ;)
  23. unles the XR6 has a 'T' on the end of it... Sportivo wins hands down ;)
  24. found the cause of the rattles. My rear right had pillow top had the rubber slide of, so it was sitting on the bump stops. I think it wasn't secure properly when we put it on as I remember feeling something strange when it was put on but thought nothing of it at the time as it was the way it came off the stock shocks. :o But all fixed now, took about 1.5 hours to take the rears out again so I could check both sides were OK... and 1 more socket ... but it's all good now :)
  25. possibly the rotors are warped just a little.
