  1. I wish Craig would give me $30K to spend on mods for my Stivo...
  2. I'm sorry this hits just too close to the mark to be classified as sexist... stating the truth, no matter how painful it is to hear is NEVER sexist!!! XOOM: that's a classic :D
  3. might be an idea to make this a sticky...
  4. Toyota needs to get back into Rallying too I reckon... and not rely on the Bates prototypes, the ice racers and the Run-X series... but real racing. I'm sure they can develop an Echo for super 16's to start with and go from there. A company with such a rich rally history and 4 years away from the top level is TOO long. But the JGTC TOM's supras are still running brilliantly well, a little off the pace though but competitive. Can't wait to see what they will do in the future...
  5. NICE I like that front lip but still don't like the grille and tear-drop lights. How hard would it be to lift the Sportivo badge off and replace it where it 'should' be???
  6. Welcome... I'm from Wollongong too, I'll keep a look out for you, sounds hard to miss B)
  7. Alright... got your point... Was a nice little discussion though... Thanks for that :D
  8. save your speach for Oscars night... Oh wait... that'll be a whole year away... :P
  9. ummmm... How hard is it to change wheel sizes... but more the point I was trying to make was if you look at the relative sizes you will see not much difference. The chassis set up would be a little different and you could mount a small motorbike engine in the back and you'd have one of these pretty easy, don't discount the face that these don't exhist use a bit of imagination... :) :P
  10. Influx... We can make a trip through the royal nat park on the way down to Wollongong if you like, but will do the rest on the old Princess Highway as Lawrence Hargraves Drive is Closed to build the Coalcliff bridge... Hope you can make it.
  11. Check out the Aussie Racer manufacturing plant and be the judge...
  12. man that didn't take long, must be all those poms popping in for a squiz and to soak up the Aussie atmosphere... B)
  13. Just remember that most of the people manning the exhibits are just promotional models with a whole 1 hour brief on the ins and outs of whatever brand they are working for and which pamphlets go with which cars... but feel free to give it a try... A better bet would be to go down to Toyota HQ where the actual Toyota people are and do the same...
  14. worth checking out the Playstation website news section. the playtests have been updated... So get practicing on the GT4 Prologue and ring up the $$$ on GT3 because it may well come in handy according to the review (GT Concept is good fo a bonus $10mil in GT3 also if you haven't already done so...) Best feature I've heard so far... Unique tuning houses (Mines, HKS etc) opposing the factory ones so you can choose different mods and compare... just like real life :D Oh and how great would it be to mod the old 3 wheel 1886 Benz machine... First combustion engine driven vehicle!!! :P 10 days and counting...
  15. I think most of us have already seen this, but still a good reminder that Toyotas just never break... well almost!!!
  16. I think the only "Sportivo's" running the GT4 motor are those in the Aust Rally Championship. ← True, the Batsey mobiles run 3S-GTE engines and GT4 chassis so it's basically a Rolla shell on Celica under-pinnings. But they do go nicely... :D
  17. They are actually real cars, like the micro racers that we have here that look like tiny V8 supercars. I was sent an e-mail a while back with a whole series of them, Audi TT, Ferrari F50, McLaren F1 etc but don't know what happened to it. A couple of the pictures were taken with their owners. :)
  18. it's the same as what I payed when they were 1st released ~$29990 + on roads + delivery = ~$32000
  19. Cool... We should have a TOCAU meet in Kingston mon!!! B) B) B)
  20. Got the paperwork in front of me... best place was GIO, $342.52 (I shopped around a bit, a good site is http://www.greenslips.com.au it surveys all companies and give an estimate of all prices) though that was on 15/7/04
  21. In Wollongong, cruise on the 13th conveniently just after the release to go south anyway... check the events page... a little inconvenient for those going on the Salvos fund raiser cruise the same day though...
  22. found at DVDCrave.com $79.95 https://ssl.dvdcrave.com/products/product.jsp?pid=5606
