  9. a finance company will usually not let u finance a car unless its got full comprehensive that's only to take out the loan... after that you're on your own...
  10. Just Jap and SSS Automotive get them in all the time.
  11. Awesome Tommy... :) 2JZ FTW!!! :)
  12. yep, this echoes what I've found on my Sydney-Adelaide and Sydney-Melbourne and Sydney-Gold Coast trips. These cars are great for traveling in and the fuel economy is pretty awesome. The longest stretch I've managed is 820 km and I put 58.5L in when I filled...
  13. I can't see any reason why you can't put the Camry or Aurion V6s into the Corolla. They are both mounted the right way anyway, would just have to make sure the engine fits and that engine mounts can me moved to suit.
  14. use the car make selections on the side to find your car ;) yeah, known about this one for ages, not a bad place to do some research but as it's from the US, not the best place to buy.
  15. I have these... http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products_clos...amp;part_no=183 I bought them direct from Tempe Tyres They also come in shadow chrome as well, in 16 and 17 inch.
  16. what are you on about? you can register for free, just make sure you register with ALL information and that it is real and the board actually do personally accept new registrations. If there is anything in there, like 12345678 for a phone number for example, you will be rejected. It can take a couple of days to be approved though because they get a couple of hundred registrations a day at times.
  17. dunno if I'm selling the rims yet... they may be transferable. as for 17 vs 16s. I only got 16s because the tyres were cheaper and easier to get as semi-slicks in the right size. 17s (as long as they are light weight) are still great. Personally I think the corolla would be perfect on 16.5 inch rims but good luck finding some, and then tyres to match... the particular rims you have pointed out though are pretty heavy. I suggest you go to Tempe Tyres and just lift a few up on the racks and just see for yourself ;) come to think of it...Blue_Stivo's gold rims similar with mine.its light.very nice as well... Yep their the same. Are they 17s or 16s? Donza also has the same rims in 17s, they are awesome rims for the price :) On a side note that pic of your car with the rims, was that taken on the Parade? Damn I miss Adelaide :(
  18. it's actually a remoulded Celica Veilside style front... and it looks like **** IMHO... 1st time I saw it years ago I thought it stood out, but now having seen it in a few colours on a number of cars, I don't like it at all.
  19. That's it Jimmy, next time I'm in Canberra I'll stop by so you can tell me to 'get the F$%k out'
  20. It looks as though I'll be there with a big bag of goodies.... it'll be like Christmas :D
