  1. saw the car again today, I was mistaken, it was a Yaris sedan...
  2. I have an '03 Sportivo with ~65,000kms that will be on the market very soon
  3. Congrats on FINALLY losing the metalwork Charmaine :)
  4. Plus the fact you can walk around the pit area and chat to the owners of the cars makes it awesome too :)
  5. indeed CAMS Nationals and AMRS series FTW... V8SC FTL...
  6. Awesome news Mark. I was going to watch tonight too but I had things to do for F1 Practice at the same time. Hoping you get through to the finals mate :D
  7. I had a silver sedan park behind me at uni on Friday. They don't look bad at all. The sedan rear end is like the US version. It kind of looks like a squished Camry. It certainly looks betting in real life then the pictures make it out to be.
  8. Gipper, the info you want is here... http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...3&hl=shocks it's all down the bottom :)
  9. most suspension places and parts suppliers stock, or can order, KYB goodies.
  10. replace the Konis with KYBs, should sort your problem out and will still give you decent handling with the lowered springs without the shortened lifetime of the Toyota genuine items. NIKICH installed them into his car (on superlows) and hasn't complained about a harsh ride from them yet. Conversely, I know it's a stupid question but I'll ask anyway, you have turned the rebound down on the konis, yes?
  11. Hope you had a great one Bren... looks like the Qld boys are helping to get that way... even the NSW team is helping them too...

MR22ZZ on an AW11 MR2 with a stock 4A-GE bigport is pretty funny...
  13. simple... the MR2 lacks a back seat and Rob was simply pointing that fact out to me... as though I hadn't already noticed...
  14. The sacrifice to 'back seat action' is evident obviously, but hey that's what beds are for. Meh. why be cramped to a back seat when there's a whole big world out there to 'explore' :P
  15. Or you can do what I did and get another car. The AW11 handles better stock then the Stivo did when it was modded. If only it had more power though...
  16. SR20s also cost bugger all to replace compared to the comparative Toyota engine be it 3S or 2ZZ...
  17. order of work should always be paint suspension/steering brakes wheels/tyres (save for after brakes so you know the clearance you have) engine exhaust
  18. damn, that's a shocker, but as you say, could have been worse, could have landed in the water drain :(
  19. what you describe is the everyday norm on the Pacific Highway from Sydney to Brisbane. I hate drivers who do that....
  20. I filled up from the light being on... cost me $50 and that gets me ~500 kms :P
  21. unfortunately my driveway will not let me go much lower then this... it already feels like my ***** scrapes the floor as it is compared to the Corolla :P the car has high arches, but it's real close to the ground through the mid section.
  22. http://www.mp3car.com is a great source of information :)
