  1. why do you need to drop lower then ~50mm from standard? doing that brings the suspension arms bellow horizontal which lowers their performance and shortens the lifetime of your CVs
  2. I like those Bridgestone? coilovers... helper springs FTW!!!
  3. UL39AL (or even UL34GL) would be good for picking up young chicks ;) ie you legal?
  4. head to the Observation deck of Q1, it's an awesome view from there :)
  5. Oh forgot to add... on the trip from Adelaide to Perth, make sure you cover the Eyre Peninsula ;) make the fist stop for the night Port Lincoln, then head up to Ceduna and across the Nulla-'bore' from there. Be sure to stop at the 'head of the bight' too because it's whale season right now ;) the view from there is also very spectacular along the cliffs.
  6. for the most scenic route, take Albury to Swan Hill along the Vic side of the river, then cut across through Ouyen to Tailem Bend. This time of year it's extremely green through the fields there. Though having said that Bendigo - St Arnaud - Horsham is pretty nice too.... hmmm I suggest Drive along the river to Echuca then down to Bendigo (stay the night) then Bendigo - St Arnaud - Horsham - Murray Bridge - Adelaide While in Adelaide, be sure to head up into the hills, a nice day trip is to go the Harndorf, go to the Mount Lofty Summit Look out visit the towns in the hills like Gumeracha, Lobethal and Oakbank. Those roads are awesome and the Stivo will love it. :D Also another good day trip is to head south to the McLaren Vale and Willunga (also the southern Beaches are nice, but not really the season for them) and do some wine tasting. There are a few chartered tours that go from Adelaide itself if you want to avoid drink driving (I've driven myself, samples the wares of 4-5 wineries, though only a selection of a select few at each and spat most of it, and blew under 0.02)
  7. the biggest event was the Saturday night meet and aqua golf, we had ~35 car out there There were ~25 cars for the show and shine and the photos reveal 14 cars on the cruise. :)
  8. Firstly, are they stck quoted figures or are they modded figures....???? what's the difference Azza, unless you crack open the gearbox you can't change those figures...
  9. those looking for pics... be sure the check the other thread. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...showtopic=11017 This has become the discussion thread. Be sure to look at the links as well as no where near all the pics have been posted in the thread yet either.
  10. excess stress through the CVs from hard launching, burnouts, deforming the joint when working on the suspension, or sometimes the rubber just deteriorates. Did you drive through any deep puddles during the rain on the weekend? This could also add extra stress to the joint.
  11. yep, definitely a broken CV boot.
  12. There aren't many Adelaide people here so you may be hard pressed finding someone who knows any tuners. I know a few places but no idea of the quality of their work.
  13. Mine from the weekend can all be found here http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w236/Bl...meet%20Weekend/ they are all sorted into sub-folders there but here's a few tasters :) SHOW AND SHINE VILLAWOOD MEET-UP AQUA GOLF SANDY BAY NORTH HEAD - MAX BRENNER'S I hope you all enjoy these :D PS... there's also a special folder just for Bec and Sam ;)
  14. If I wanted that I wouldn't buy either a Honda or a Toyota... Opps, forgot to say affordable no-comprimised sports car. My bad. that's better ;) :D
  15. because these engines have been built for competition it's a bit hush hush as far as Dynos go... However I will say to do some searching and you may get some help. There are a few people on here that have provided a lot of information about the stroked engines, you just need to look. ;)
  16. If I wanted that I wouldn't buy either a Honda or a Toyota...
  17. A standard 2ZZ-GE would still rip holes in a 4A-GZE. There's about 60kgs less weight for starters, in fact the 2ZZ is lighter then the 4A-GE too... but your other assumptions would be pretty close to the mark ;)
