A workmate of an uncle of mine went down in the 2nd tower. Also there was a lens producer's trade show programmed in Tower 2 for September 12th which would have taken out a few of my ex work colleagues, including the company CEO who was going to be there, had it happened only a day later. And in the grand scheme of things, it's not that big a tragedy, bigger tragedies are going on every day in West African Nations with the ongoing civil wars and genocide taking place over there, yet because it's not broadcast daily on international news services, or an instant 'act of ***' such as the tsunami in Indo, no one cares...

As far as seat go, they don't need to meet ADRs specifically, they can meet an equivalent international standard as well, ie many racing seats and harnesses have FIA approval which also meets (and surpasses) all ADR requirements. I'll do some more reading up on it.

I suggest to pack an umbrella. The drive there itself isn't bad in the wet, just be careful through McCarrs Creek which can get slippery from the tree sap over the road. There are a few shelters at Palm Beach itself too, but I'm hard pressed to think of anywhere where there is decent undercover space for heaps of people... in that area at least.

Anyone catch the Chaser's last night? They interviewed people in the US about what year 9-11 and the exact date was... people were saying 2000, 2004 etc, everything but 2001 then they were saying it was September 1st, 'some time in October you know... the 9th month', August 16... no idea where that came from... Then they went on to ask what 2 cities were effected (ie NYC and DC) one person was clever enough to say Pennsilvania as well, but most people said... what are you on about, it was only in New York... Yep, Americans care heaps...

Coilovers for MR2 AW11... no one makes them except TODA and D2/G4 so they are either uber expensive or not high enough quality for my liking.

This is a meet for Toyota Owners Club.... I was of the belief that Saturday was for the club and Sunday was for whoever wanted to go for a drive.

what do they say about people who talk about things the most....

dunno how many people here have seen floors collapse in multi story buildings but the air pressure of the floor above collapsing would force the windows out... Naive people ***** me off... quit with this crap, we all know what happened, we saw it with our own eyes. No one bombed anything.

looks like you sprayed it too thick

simply look at the centre of gravity of the ITR compared to the Corolla and you see the 1st advantage there before even getting into the more advance suspension geometry (particularly on the rear where the corolla really does suck)

The MR2 currently has 1 TRD badge... that is all it's ever getting...

check that the nuts on the top if the strut tower are tightened properly. ie the retaining nut on the strut itself, not the the 3 that hold the strut pillow top in place.
