it takes twice the effort to ride a cheap, uncomfortable steel bike then it does an aluminium one. It's worth the extra pennies. A carbon fibre one is even less effort still, but out of the price range he's looking at.

all those that think that it was not a plane that hit the pentagon... tell that to the families of the 120 odd people that lost their lives that were onboard that plane. And also explain to the family of my parents neighbour who were driving along the highway alongside the pentagon when the plane came over head. the reason the hole is not large enough, it because the plane scraped along the ground, you know then funny thing about when metal sheets are involved in impacts is that they deform. You you not expect the hull of a plane to collapse somewhat from a direct impact with the ground?

yep, that's a wall scrape mark, could not have happened on the track. If he did enough damage to the face of the rim in that incident, and it provides a large enough point defect there is now reason why that couldn't have weakened the wheel enough that once it is heated from track work that it becomes the initial failure point.

the scrape on the bodywork of that skyline tells another side to the story as well

well it was that time of the year again for me. After taking my car back to stock I was still quoted $1275 from Just Cars with their stupidly high excesses. AAMI was WORSE at $1550 and didn't get much more satisfaction from the other major insurers either. I chose to go with REAL car insurance (the ones with the add where they refund 10% of your premiums after 3 years continued coverage) Full Comprehensive for $20,000 with Wheels $1600, locknuts, Rear skirt, tinted windows, metallic paint and alarm all covered for... ~$800. I was stoked... and the excess is $500 if I'm at fault in a claim. The only poor point I could see was that their quoted market value was $17,500, so I opted for agreed value. I also got excess free windscreen replacement cover.

It's promoting the TRD Super 2000 corolla rally car. I did a bit of off-roading with it last night to see what happened and hung the game after I drove off a cliff :P 10,000 redline? did you even watch the tacho? it only ever goes up to 8. It helps to watch the needle not the numbers.

yeah I did notice you had the racepipe on...

where did you bring it from? there should be a small round single pin plug for the radio antenna you need to plug in. The cord for it is pretty short so it can be tricky to plug in at times.

No Ferrari are struggling this weekend too. BMW are the team to watch. Heidfeld is in with a good chance to take this one if things fall his way.

and how steep are said hills. I bought my bike for triathlon but have since ventured into the hills with it and the gearing sucks. Triathlon bikes are geared for the flat and suck **** once you get much of an incline at all. It's a good daily commuter bike though.

Spotted Dave (YDOIT4) this morning on my way to the Toymods treasure hunt meet. Had a nice little run together when we were able to break out of the traffic on King Georges Ave.
