they wear out over time... plus he may want something stronger then the stock ones to lower the engine movement. Dave - all the mounts listed are replacements for the stock items.

It's difficult because it only has an engine mount on one side. Better off using a 3S-GE beams engine from an Altezza.

if only that were the case... it IS the case... they may pull you over, sure, but after that, no harm, no foul. I've been 'random breath tested' 3 times in the last month once in Stivo and twice in the MR2 both time the had a quick look over the car got me to count to 10, checked by license and I was on my way... I actually like that they are doing their job and keeping dopey feckers off the street.

as far as mounts go, they are all interchangeable.

I find lighter ones give too much vibration and feedback through the shaft. Heavier is more direct... but I guess I'm used to handling a big heavy knob :P

heavier gear knobs are way better than light ones.

The only sport close to the same controls is swimming, and even then they don't have to tell the sporting body where they will be 3 months in advance in case of out of competition testing were to call on their door.

there was the Cofidis rider that was kicked out for using EPO, though... so that's still 2 down. Chicken Legs has either been suspended by his team pending further investigation, or has been sacked. I have heard conflicting reports. The fact still remains that over the last 18 months he has avoided 4 out of competition drug test by not being where he said he would be. This is not a one off occurrence but something he has done on several occasions.

I never said it was a bad thing that the cheats are being caught. It may look bad in the public eye, but I'd rather them caught and shamed then praised as heros.
