  1. They are south African tail lights. Like I said boys $350 or nearest offer. Plug and play ready to go......
  2. Hi all I have a pair of ZZE122/3 tailights that have had the JDM mod done professionally. Near brand new and were only on a car for 2 weeks before it was sold. $350 or nearest offer. Freight at buyers expense
  3. If you can find 4 other people who want one I can get them made for you.
  4. CES CAI is made to fit the AUDM corolla with the 2ZZ. Comes with K&N filter and clears the fog light in the inner guard. CAI pipe is thermal coated to help reduce heat transfer as well. Dyno figures when tested yielded higher gains than TRD which showed slightly higher gains than Injen. Cannot remember figures as this was 8 years ago that I helped develop this CAI. Most of the other CAI's are not designed to fit our model Corolla's hence they are hard to fit and require some modifications to work successfully. The rubber elbow for the CAI - throttle body connection is industrial grade and wont split and crack like the TRD ones do.
  5. diameter is the issue as its metric and most of the bends you can get here are imperial. 2.5' is too small and 3' is too big. if you can get something close to 2.75' it may fit you need something that is soft and pliable otherwise it wont seal. 2.75' is not a common size most companies carry in stock. remember it has to be able to be somewhat oil, fuel and heat resistant.
  6. CES cat back system is DBA legal and has dyno proven gains as well. 2ZZGE should be tested for decibel readings at just under 5500rpm which is 2/3 max engine speed/rpm. That is the legal requirement and guideline for noise output.
  7. Your exits on the LHS due to the fact that the Australian models have a full size spare and the JDM models have a space saver. You have more room to go across the back of the car due to the shallower spare wheel well. Ours go over the torsion beam and exit straight on the rhs of the car as we have a bigger spare wheel well in the boot floor.
  8. Pretty sure you have a to buy the bearing from toyota as nobody else will stock them well didnt when i needed one for a custome!! From memory they arent cheap either like about 350 trade price.. firstly before you buy a bearing make sure the hub isnt damaged or you will need one of them as well.
  9. sounds like a packaging error as all sportivo runs the same size pad and caliper. I swapped the pads on my 03 sportivo when i owned onto a mates late 05 sportivo so i know theyre the same.
  10. I can supply whiteline rear sway brand new for close to the $200 mark. PM me if you are interested.
  11. it is the contact cable for the horn or airbag sensor. Obviously dry or rubbing and then wears and you get the grinding type noise. It's an easy fix but not for steering wheels with airbags as that can be dangerous if they go off. There is a right and a wrong way to do it so best to take it to toyota!!
  12. When was the last oil and plug change? what filter is on the injen Cai? Is it clean? What are the specs of the catback system you have?? Far too many variables to blame any one thing but the fact that you are a lot slower and MPH is down indicates you arent making good power mid to top end which can mean either intake or exhaust side of things could be the issue as well.
  13. I wouldnt of wasted the money on a high flow cat as the standard one flows more than enough for a N/A sportivo. Spend the money on headers for performance gains and better drivability and low to mid range torque. Who did the cat back system on your car? I had 2003 Sportivo with TRD CAI, CES headers and cat back system and made 123Kw atw with 113 000k's on the clock. Things like the brand of oil you use etc etc will affect dyno output of the 2ZZGE. they are fussy engines!!
  14. ive heard a rumour a few "oldtimer" TOCAU peeps might make an appearance tonight!!
  15. Will see what i can do with work. If i come i'll prolly stay with a friend so will be in need of a chaeuffer of sorts. Or Qld's we could stay at the same place as last time at Brighton from memory? It was cheap and nothing flash? Only have to sleep there!!
  16. Steer clear of redline MT90 shock proof oil in the box as it has been known to cause long term issues with synchroes.
  17. I'm guessing your car is a Sportivo with 2ZZGE. 2.5" is what you need to make power and feel some gains. You will also need a centre resonator in the system as well or it will be unbearable to drive and drone like there is no tomorrow. For the money you want to spend you wont get a quality cat back system thats for sure. If you dont hit lift that often then my advice is get headers. CES Racing do headers which are stock items ported flowed and then HPC coated. Great improvement in drivability in the low to mid range. I'd do this first then add a cat back system later on if you want more of an increase in HP. Here's a link to the headers... http://www.cesracing.com.au/products_5.htm The catback system... http://www.cesracing.com.au/products_6.htm Cold Air intake just incase you are interested... http://www.cesracing.com.au/products_7.htm All of their products have been dyno tested and have proven gains unlike some others out there who will just tell you there products work. Buyer beware as have seen waaay too many people been ripped off after being promised the earth so to speak and end up with a car that doesnt perform like it should. Cheers SB :)
  18. Can supply you front strut brace either Whiteline or Ultra Racing. PM me if you are interested.
  19. I can supply you new KYB Excel G's for ZRE152 if you need cheaper than RRP. Pm me if you are interested.
  20. I've got rear mudflaps for zze122/3. $25 plus freight to your door. PM me if you are interested.
  21. Have to agree with Neil on this one. It sounds like you have a car that hasnt had regular oil changes or has been using crap oil. Just before I sold mine I had the cam cover off as I had it polished and inspected everything for the sake of it and with 113 000ks on it the cams were perfect. I always ran Penrite semi synthetic oil from day one.
