  1. Actually it's all good I found them. For future reference, they are accessible from the front side of the radiator on the internal side of the headlight housing. See attached pic.
  2. Hi wokstar - ive just bought some t10s for the parkers and have found the same issue. Difficult to see where to access the parker bulbs from. Any chsnce you could please shed some light (no pun intended) on how you did it? Thnx mate :)
  3. Howdy all, just interested to see if anyone has hooked up aftermarket LED daytime running lights to a ZRE182? I know the levins came stock with them, but ive got an ascent sport and spotted an ascent the other day driving around with them on, so just interested to see if anyone knows where to get them?
  4. Nice work looks awesome especially front bar. Have u lowered this? What did u use kings springs? Also what size, width, offset are the rims? Ive got the same model and colour 182 so just trying to figure out what it looks like with different mods etc. Thanks mate!
  5. Sounds & looks great! Did you have to do any welding or is it just a few bolts at the axle flange location and "clipping on" the pre-welded hangers to the rubber exhaust mounts?
  6. Awesome thanks so much for the info! A few more quick questions for you if you dont mind. 1. Is your corollla manual or cvt? Ive got a cvt and its the first auto car ive owned and can obviously notice the autos arent as responsive off the line as a manual, wondering whether this exhaust might help with that? By the sounds of your info above, it may well. 2. Did the dry panel filter add any induction noise or not really? Can you please advise of the part number and send a link to site u purchased it from? Thanks heaps for your help :)
  7. Thanks for the detailed info! Just looked up a few trd exhaust vids on youtube, and keen to know does it sound like any of these ones in particular? More or less noise than these etc? Thanks in advance for your help! TRD Muffler Exhaust Toyota Corolla 8th gen 2001: Toyota corolla 2000 TRD exhaust sound: 2014 S Plus Corolla With TRD Exhaust:
  8. Also newb question but how did u get the plastic dipping done for the chrome trims did u just spray them using the aerosol plastic spray paint?
  9. What offset are your 16x7 rims? I wouldnt think they would stick out too much beyond the guard since the stock rims for the ascent sport are 16x6 with +45 offset or 17x7 for levins.
  10. Great post! Please keep us posted on how you go. Is the exhaust cat back or does it bolt onto a flange between the cat and muffler somewhere? Be really interested in hearing the sound. If it all hooks up o you will have to post a vid on youtube or something and post up the link :)
  11. Ray, did you get the 10,000k HIDs? Any idea if the 10,000k are legal etc? Keen to put some in but just want to check first etc.
  12. A few pics of the vanity/sun-visor LEDs
  13. Ok I've finally got around to finishing off installing the interior light kit. They all fit and work perfectly (with exception of the boot light as mentioned above), thanks so much Chris! My only comments on the vanity/sun-visor lights are that it is super bright for a light that you are almost looking directly at when looking in the mirror. It is also a pretty tight fit to get the panel in there, but it does fit :) I will post up a few photos of the vanity/sun-visor LED panel. The dome interior lights are awesome! It is amazing how much brighter they are compared to OEM. It's like daytime when the interior LEDs are switched on at night. I also installed the exterior number plate LEDs, and similarly these are much nicer than OEM. Overall, I have found the interior LED kit available from Chris through ReVision, a very easy kit to install, providing much clearer and brighter white light. I would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in installing LEDs. Thanks again Chris, I am very impressed with this kit!
  14. To get it replaced it would probably be cheapest to go through the insurance company and pay the excess. But in saying that they would probably just get it repaired/repainted if it's only a scratch and not completely buckled etc. best bet would be to go to a few panel beaters and get a few quotes to compare. Otherwise if you can't see the scratch, maybe just leave it? The black plastic surround under the front bumper is particularly low and I often scrape mine on the bump stops at the shopping centre car park. Hope that helps somehow :)
  15. Hey Chris, apologies I haven't got back to you sooner on the interior LED kit, things have been hectic. Ive installed the number plate LEDs this morning and they fitted and work perfectly. Can't wait to see them tonight in the dark! I tried installing the cargo/boot LED but it actually does not fit. The OEM festoon is approx. 28mm long whereas the LED is approx 31mm long. The length probably isn't the problem that is preventing it from going in, rather the diameter of the end contacts are reasonably bigger than OEM which prevents it from fitting in. The square LED panel also clashes on the metal plate that runs alongside the festoon clamps. I tried installing the LED panel on an angle but it wouldn't go in. Have you got a similar LED except with a slimline LED panel which also has slightly smaller diameter tips and is slightly shorter? I've attached a few pics to help explain what I mean (sorry some might not be the best photos). I will try install the other interior LEDs next weekend, but looking at them I think they should fit no dramas. Looking fwd to getting them all installed :) will keep u posted and will put final pics up once I get them all in. Thanks again mate!
  16. Hi Chris, just picked up the LEDs from the post office today, thanks very much!! Will take some 'before' photos one night this week and install the LEDs on the weekend and let you know how they go.Will post up the 'before' and 'after' photos :)
  17. Sorry Chris, wasn't sure what to do there. I've got the double reading lights in front and back.
  18. Thanks heaps for the input guys. Aaron what width are your rims? Are they 18x8?
  19. Hey all, I'm also hoping to get some new rims for my 2013 zre182 ascent sport hatch. I like some 17x7.5 rims but unsure on what offset to go for. You guys mentioned u did some numbers on it to figure out what offsets will scrape etc. do u know any good websites that show u how to check etc. sorry for the newb question but keen to learn. I'm obviously looking for a wider stance but don't want scraping etc. I'll probably keep stock suspension for a while and might try reduce some of the gap with slightly thicker wall tyres. But would love to leave the option open for lowering down the track without scraping on those rims. Was think maybe +40ish to +35ish offset but just not really sure. Any tips on how to figure these things out would be much appreciated! Cheers!
  20. Awesome Chris sounds good I'm keen. Will send you a msg now. Cheers, Craig
  21. Hey mate, you should check out Aerpro's range of wiring harnesses, usually available from repo, super cheap auto etc. if u can find harnesses to suit, that would be the simplest way (if you wanted to avoid connecting all the wires etc). You might need to get a Toyota to ISO harness and then ISO to Nissan harness. Check out Aerpro's range on their website for one that suits that model navara. No guarantees but would be worth looking into!
