  1. Welcome and good luck with the restoration! Do give us pics of your progress :)
  2. How much did everyone pay for Michelin Pilot Super Sport? Last I checked, they were pretty pricey.
  3. Thanks, Tanny58. Yeah, I was thinking the same -- I'll probably take it to the mechanic who works on my other car. Will definitely report back once it's done!
  4. Sounds like "sealed for life" really means "sealed for the life of the warranty" -- Haha! Btw, I'm motivated to have mine changed now too.
  5. Just found this thread: Looks like it will work, but make sure you get a decent condition steering wheel with an airbag module as the Aurion airbag module won't fit. You're looking around 1K for the complete steering wheel if you order parts from the US. From a wrecker locally -- don't know. I haven't had a chance to look for an IS350 wreck yet.
  6. Does this custom y-pipe sound any louder than a stock one?
  7. I'll be on the lookout for one at a reasonable price then
  8. Hmmmmm...would anyone know if IS350 or IS-F steering wheel would fit?
  9. Another Aurion owner -- awesome! Welcome!!
  10. There is a Facebook group that should be joined regarding people who have had their melting dashboards replaced. Some dealerships have been less than cooperative, but most are coming round. It's a manufacturing fault and a safety issue.
  11. Hey guys, here's my car. Bought it at the end of last year -- I currently own a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4, but needing something that the missus can drive with my son in the back, I decided upon the Aurion Sportivo ZR6. We had a look at some Mazda3 SP25s, Honda Accord Euros and these cars. Surprisingly, my missus liked the Aurion the best! This after complaining she didn't like large cars lol. She just fell in love the second she sat in the driver's seat. So we bought one privately after taking a look at a few. This one seemed to be in the best condition mechanically -- the mechanic said it was top notch and the owner had kept all his log books up to date. So anyway, here it is. At the moment, it's completely stock. Having seen what a few of the other guys are doing with their cars, that will change -- nothing too major though Oh, and please excuse the quality of the photos.
  12. You take some pretty good pics!
  13. Agree with the others -- should be same colour as the car.
  14. Welcome and congrats on your purchase!
  15. Welcome! I was seriously considering buying a TRD, but it was just a bit too much car for me -- especially with the missus having to drive it as well. Good on ya :)
  16. They should go pretty well, providing they are rotated. Some people have managed to get 80,000 Kms out of their RE002s. My Galant VR-4 has done 20,000 Kms in RE002s and still has far more than 50% tread left. The treadwear rating of 220 seems soft, but 220 for Bridgestone seems to be the equivalent of a higher rating from another manufacturer.
