  1. lol Lee, you crack me up sometimes! It's just a blood Corolla :P Ok update time Managed to get some 'OPTION' vinyl cut decals. 'OPTION' is a car magazine in Japan famous for the in-depth feature of cars and DIY's - plus I like the design of it so why not! Bringing the rice boy out of me Instantly felt the extra 10hp! Scored a Whiteline rear strut brace from Casey, champ offered me free courier fees on top After I polished her up. Haven't pushed it but I'm sure it'll make some sort of difference. Perhaps it'll limit my 3-wheeling around Winton now Also fitted a front pair of weathershields/rain deflectors (from the US) as my original Toyota one had cracked. New one is slightly short but is tinted and in better condition so I'm happy overall! Lastly, heres' a vid of the exhaust note - I was asked if mine was loud/droney/raspy a few times so I'll let you be the judge. It's sort of loud I guess.. Thanks for looking
  2. Gee, that looks familiar! 30 car meet? I'll come :P Nice work with the car man haha
  3. Goodbye overseas trip :( Hello PB's? :P
  4. Funnny kid this guyyy! Yes Lee, that is my costume :P Thanks for the compliments boys
  5. haha What's it with you and hot pink! I mean I don't mind if you are and all... :P any colour but green and orange pls :P No problem man, see below lol Progress continues with the Rota Slipstreams Goodbye gunmetal grey! Gloss black baby! All 'round. Just like new! Hardparking Wheels were originally a gun metal grey colour but that didn't suit the car so I had them chemically stripped. Once done, I dropped it off at the powdercoaters and selected my colour. 48hrs later I came to pick it up with a huge grin. Never had gloss black wheels, all of the black I've had were matt so hopefully these will look alright. Will fit the semi's soon.
  6. You will see my Young Apprentice! Correct! Air Freight set me back an ar.se-probing 320USD :) Yeh I got one after getting them haha That's my 'room Duy lol
  7. Nice work! Don't worry I've already munched through 3 sets of front slotted rotors. Race pads = money money! Back to my trusty HP-X's now. If you want more braking power, look into slotted rotors, they'll take more of your pads but are worth it when you begin shaving time at Winton
  8. Small but costly update Paint died in the *****... Goodbye a few weeks worth of wages, hello PB's? haha Love Priority Airmail! Sent Friday arvo (U.S), arrived first thing this morning. Like a G6! Stay tuned, more to come.
  9. Thanks Dez :) Onto other news; I just spent close to $1k - hopefully it arrives next week
  10. Just a few corrections Kenshin/Duy; That's a B16 Civic vs Rob's 4AGZE seca and also the one chasing me is Pete's AE82 race car :P Good pics though!
  11. pffft you kids can't retire! New cars, hungry for more - do 5 days at least then call it quits! Dwee, if you go semi's I expect a sub '50! Johnnie, I hope you'll be there to keep him at bay. I owe you a crash-course on how to take on Winton :)

  13. You'll get a '54 next time out for sure Peter :) I'll tute you more and show you more tricks ;) ... Johnnie too just to even it out! haha
  14. lol '45's is definitely out of the question, I'll shout you a can from the vending machine if I do nail it though :P Track day is penned in for Sunday May 8th, hoping for good weather again! haha will do!
  15. So as you guys know, I organised the recent track day at Winton Raceway and the turnout attendance and weather wise was brilliant! Before I left, I made sure my "track day box" had what I needed to get through the day. To name a few things; helmet, racing harness, spare oil/coolant/brake pads and tape and also the ever important: tyre pressure guages (both analog and digital). In that went with a pair of spare wheels, 2 socket sets and a few other things. Lucky I brought along the wheels as I flew off the track and almost damaged the Rota wheels - which are supposedly weak wheels but I guess not! Anyway, so we went track racing and the low-down can be had here: http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=32247&st=0 In summary, I managed to beat my previous PB of 1.48.3850 by 0.544 second, down to 1.47.8410. The car has been reverted back to 'daily' spec with the road wheels fitted along with street pads as the track-spec pads had managed to munch through much of my new slotted rotors up front. Next track day has been booked in and paid for so I'll be saving a bit and will be focusing on a few more bits as the day draws closer. Thanks for looking
  16. After you dropped me of at the pits, I saw you nail a 1.56.380 and thought "CHEYEAH BOY! Go Hard!" Little did I know you were to going to dip into the '55's! Drive with two hands, get more control and you'll nail 54 without a doubt? Don't believe me? Give me your keys... ..haha jokes
  17. I saw you trying to chase me down in the second cleavage section after letting me through, top notch effort with the Aurion thats for sure!
  18. Hey Lee, any photo's of my drift? If it's in sequence I'll try and make a .gif out of it lol
  19. ahhh Johnnie you crack me up! "AarHhh 3 wheeels! WoahH-Ahh gooo Trungggg!" You're actually quite right! I had to double and triple take and my rear passenger wheel lifts up noticeably!
  20. HAHAHAHAHAHAH That Sh.it is the BOMB Zeinheiger!
  21. Any of my spins? I did a spectacular 360 lost midway into the sweeper; flying off the track and creating dust-mayhem! That's when Johnnie came to save the day, getting the stone out wedged between my semi and my Rota's haha! I love you bro :)
  22. Well put Johnnie! And for the record; my antics and shenanigans after getting my PB was/is a one-off occurence. It will never happen again 'cause I can't get close to my new PB. That 1.47 run was a one-off haha
  23. First off, thanks to all the guys who made the trip; competitors and spectators. This track day has been one of the best track days I could have asked for with great company and weather to boot. For the most part, everything went smoothly albeit a few small issues but regardless the day progressed well and no one had any real major issues (except for Corolla Lee). The good thing about you Toyota guys' is the friendly competition and camaraderie that exists within the group. Some of us have never met as some guys are on the Corolla forums but we mixed well. An example would be Jay (Jskills) allowing Alister (friend who came to spectate) to ride shotgun in a session having never met each other before. And while I was tending to a few things, Casey was giving Lee a hand after his bingle with the photo hut. At the end of the day, Anthony/Tony (MR2) said he had a great day and that we were a great bunch of guys, all level headed and very approachable; I have to commend you guys on that and helping each other out when/where you can. Keep up the good work and now onto the pics, gogogo!
  24. There may be a late entry; I know a guy with a turbo'd 4AGE AE92 Seca who wants to join in but have to see how it pans out. That means, we've got 4AGE Turbo/Supercharger/20 Valve ITB and 16V in the mix; if all goes to plan. If your worrying about the numbers, I've raced with 18 cars before and didn't have any issue. You'll have to pace yourselves. Then again alot of you guys will bunch up and battle each other like last time and there would be 1km of NO ONE lol
  25. Guys! After much persistence with my emails; I got a reply from Adam and he has confirmed that it will be our people only, Hopefully anyway. Looks like it's going to be a battle of the Toyota's - Corolla based baby!
